Even getting a job in Kenya as a Kenyan is still hard
Very very
It's good to see more of our fellow Africans coming to live in Kenya. One of the best decisions of the former government was to relax visa rules for Africans.
I think that will be so great 💕
1. Rent, Kenyans prefer monthly rent because it makes it flexible for both the tenant and landlord. Situations can change within the year like job transfer, finding better house, changes in income etc.
2. Food is all about the ingredients. If you can cook for yourself all the ingredients are available in Kenya restaurants only make what has demand and is profitable.
3. Traffic has greatly improved 15 years ago it was so bad, Nairobi right now has many micro towns that have every thing you need most people dont need to go far from home to get services and goods and also there are many roads.
4. Employers are required to give first priority to locals and can only hire a foreigner if the particular skill required is not available and that is a global practice not only in Kenya.
5. Matatu has evolved with Nairobi and it suits the travel needs, they are efficient relatively clean and comfortable but sometimes chaotic.
6. Nigerians have actually made Kenyans appreciate Kenya power it is one of the most hated organization in Kenya for its poor customer service and corruption
Wow this is great 💕
There are people who live in Nairobi's suburbs who never set foot in the CBD.
@@freedomm lol 🤣

Monthly rent payments is due to culture thing . Most Kenyans don’t live in a particular area for long time . They move around due to various factors..job changes, life improvements, social structures changes and life I general
Okay that’s a fact…..
New subscriber. Love from Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪welcome home brother ❤❤❤

I agree with what you are saying.
Yes…. Thanks so much for your comment means a lot 🥹🙏❤️
We had no issues with setting up our company. Just follow the legit way. If you are relocating with ambitious ideas, kenya is the place 👌🏾
Well said👏👏
Fair comparison bro, karibu sana Kenya.

Brother I hear you. I live in London and from Kenya. Its hard life is
Bro it’s not easy at all
You can work in Kenya but in very specialized jobs like medicine or university lecturer. I am aware of many Nigerian doctors but mostly people working at universities, including the Vice Chancellor at the University of Embu.
Ohhh 😮 wow
This is so interesting ❤️
I'm happy to see this video. I was told that we (from outside the continent) shouldn't go to Africa to look for a job. Instead, we should go there to create jobs (start businesses). This isn't realistic for everyone. Anyway, I'm ensuring that I have a remote job before I move to Nairobi. I've experienced both Nairobi and Lagos. However, I give Nairobi the edge when it comes to quality of life.
Thank you for this great comment Asanti sana
Is it easier paying monthly or annually? Monthly is flexible enough.
it is... bt they just have both their adv and dsv
But how can you say paying rent Yearly is better than monthly.. 🙆♀🙆♀That doesn't even make sense. Of course monthly is best. Most countries use the monthly scheme..Nigeria, and Ghana are the ones who use yearly i think, some even 2 years
Okay if you say so
TZ as well
Sending love from my channel good content
Thank you
It's not easy to get a job in Kenya as a Kenyan 😊 for the next one, talk about the security situation, night life & things to do..
Ok thanks 😊
Yh it's not easy
😂 stop lying you know good and well the discrimination against Nigerians
@@moltebin that is also true sir...
@@moltebin this is not entirely true.. As a polite reminder, being mindful of other people in the environment can get you a long way... Where I live: Burundians, Rwandese, Ugandans & Tanzanians run their own businesses - no one dares discriminate against them...
@@moltebin no. I'm Kenyan and there are no jobs for sure. Most Kenyans start their own businesses

You should tell us how invest in Nigeria be cause you are already in Kenya, do a better marketing based on a win win strategy 😊

Welcome to Kenya. We ae open for business and inter cultural interactions.
That’s cool
Asanti sana ❤️
Same for us South Sudanese here in Kenya man
It’s not easy
Not at all.... Thanks for the comment bro
We Kenyans have the same challenges as every other African country. So basically if we cannot be able to make life easier for our own citizens, then there ain't much we can do to those coming into the country for opportunities.
We have lots to do as Africans to create opportunities for our people
@@jessenopiyoadory8031 i was really happy about the comment you lay down sir..
i hope more opportunities is coming and it will be well
@@belovedayomi1 it usually pains me to see our African brethren running to other countries particularly the West and Asia where they are shown untold contempt because they come from 'cursed places' read Africa.
We have to change our mindset and build Africa beautifully this creating opportunities for the populace, that way no one will ever look down upon our people
Please can you talk about Nigerians wanting to school in kenya???
Yes sure I will
you haven't come to lagos recent, Rent is getting higher like mad
You can’t compare Lagos to Nairobi… and it depends on where you want to stay
Paying rent in Kenya per year is a big relieve but we are used to paying rent per month
I think so
Thanks for commenting nice 👍
Karibu Kenya 🇰🇪
Asanti sana
To succeed in Kenya as a Nigerian, You need enough cash to invest in a unique business. Any Nigerian Competing with Kenyans for local jobs will have a hard time getting employment.
That is very correct
I love your comment

Unless yu work for an international organisation yu can't get a work permit as a Nigerian unless yu have skills that kenyans don't have or maybe start a company
@@belovedayomi1 Kenyans don't have job so how can you go there and looking for job in Kenya.

Expatiate the business permit… I have a visa with them but on my research I just concluded not going to Kenya anymore
Okay 👍
Bro please help me ask for the business permit. I have a visa with Kenya o e Dey expire February next year
I don’t know about that
In Kenya, the investor permit is issued to foreign investors who wish to invest and establish a business in the country. The certificate is issued by the Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest), which is the government agency responsible for promoting and facilitating investment in Kenya. The minimum investment to be issued with an Investor’s Permit is USD 100,000.
The investor permit in Kenya is valid for a period of two years and can be renewed upon expiration. Once you obtain the investor permit, you will also be eligible to apply for a work permit, which will allow you to work and live in Kenya while running your business.

There are Nigerian doctors working in Kenya
Ohhh wow can you link me to one please
@@belovedayomi1 I would like to but I don't have his contact. My niece got sick, she had heart failure and the one who operated her was a Nigerian doctors at Kenyatta national hospital,🏥. So believe me there are Nigerians who have govt job here.kenyans ain't biased to nationality, it depends with the level of one's education and the availability of the vacancies. Incase a job is advertised and it happens no Kenyans who applied, they will take a foreigner who qualified for the same job if all no Kenyans fit for the same job
In which hospitals? I highly doubt
