I will be starting this model in 2 weeks just done and Honda NSR 500 bike taken me 7 weeks from start to finish was only doing a hour or two on a night
.......Oh! That "blue"! Zero is a VERY hot paint & it's melted the plastic! Apply in VERY, VERY thin layers & leaving about 15mins between each coat. I would have DOT4 dipped the bodywork & re-done!
@@HETScaleModels For some reason on my first model whenever I superglued using Bob Smith it left white residue on previously paint parts, not clear plastic.
Did you use the decals from the kit? I’ve never had any luck with Tamiya decals. Great job! And what’s the little red block thing you’re using for applying your glue?
Yes, decal from the kit and they are quite good, had no problems with them. Red block is DSPIAE Craft Tools AT-GA Super Glue Auxiliary Applicator, helpful thing but expensive
Cool build... well done
Good Job!! Always!!
nice job!!

Looks brilliant mate, if you have any questions about spraying a clear coat feel free too ask me. cheers James
I'm okay
should have polished the paint job before moving on to the water transfer decals that would make it looks so much better
I'm still learning
how call the last song?
Terrific build, thanks. About 8 minutes in - what is the silver material/substance you're using to glue the exhaust pipes and other pieces?
It's just regular super glue. I use Bob Smith Industries Super Gold and red thing is DSPIAE Craft Tools AT-GA Super Glue Auxiliary Applicator

@@HETScaleModels what is the name of the instrument you are using to spray on the model
I use iwata neo and Harder & Steenbeck Infinity CRplus 0.3
I love all this but idk where to start.. I sure do want to start though please help guidance
Well first of all this is an old comment did you start yet?
very nice build just would like to know where did you get the CA glue holder tool that you are using
ebay, DSPIAE Craft Tools AT-GA Super Glue Auxiliary Applicator
I'm new with this, question, why do you glue from the outside? Is it easy to smooth the glue away later on?
I'm using Tamiya extra thin glue, it dry in seconds and don't leave any marks on plastic
@@HETScaleModels what is the difference between extra thin glue and tamiya cement?
Extra thin dry quicker

HET Scale Models Asesome! Thanks for the reply.
Is it possible to hand paint these with good results? I don't really want to get an airbrush.
It's possible of course, but result will be not so good. Instead You can use TS spary paints from Tamiya
@@HETScaleModels thank you. Will look into it.
What Dremel grinding tools do you recommend?
at the moment i use the cheapest cordless from china, there is no name or brand, just look on ebay or AliExpress
so you glue first then paint over it or paint first then glue
Depend of the parts, some can be glued before painting some not.
What's the name of these songs?
can u suggest any model glue instaed of tamiya cement glue
U can try Revell or Mr hobby glue
