[Avviso IT] Attenzione a OBS 30.2.3! sembrerebbe la causa dei casini dei dropframes in encoding overload (sempre doppio Live+Rec) delle ultime live ma serve nuovo check live.. il problema è che quei dropframes NON sono generati da rete/bitrate ma lato encoding, quindi cascano poi a valle ad entrambi gli encoding (hardware)! 🙊
Meno male la live è servita per scoprire il problema altrimenti altro che solo un paio di boss (spero non sia andato tutto perso..)
[Update] 🤯 Ouch, I need to double-check the new ones, "I'm praying all the saints" otherwise it's blasphemous stuff 🙊 ⚠ Warning: perhaps the culprit seems to be #OBS 30.2.3 with the AV1 pairing! and it coincides with the mid-August update done a few days ago (now downgrade to 30.2.2 to be safe 🫣)
Having just mounted a PNY RTX (before a Strix1080ti 11oc) I was "blaming" the "unstable" NVENC (nvidia hardware encoding) or the limiting bitrate of YT, but these potential "lagging" problems are actually leading to encoding lags created perhaps by OBS (connected to the Elgato HD60X capture)
That YT is LIMITING the bitrate is little but SURE, since it suggested me a 23.5K, which is strange since I have always used a ~40K without problems.. always Excellent

🔹 in my opinion there is a "clear" problem of YT 🤦 with RTMPS or severely LIMITING the bitrate on main server, even at 20K it leads to absurd drop frames 🤯 (NEVER happened before, eh! always done in 4K with bitrates up to max 51K) .. I should try in HLS but I don't think it solves the problem.
Does anyone have suggestions or had the same issues? I don't worry about it eh, the Recordings done are PERFECT. I will have to think about live to 1440p downgrade to avoid it..
🔹another issue is probably caused by Nvidia driver encoding with Elgato making the card unstable or the last OBS update (maybe a clean studio driver install..)
Per gli utenti italiani: purtroppo ultimamente YT sta limitando a valle il bitrate in RTMPS 4K perché non mi spiego tutto sto lag.. I video usciranno senza problemi dato che in montaggio erano perfetti. Può darsi che il nuovo driver studio uscirà a giorni con le ottimizzazioni di Wukong ma faccio ugualmente un clean install dell'attuale driver che non si sa mai.. Purtroppo so e immagino non sia stato un bel vedere
