Its because this thing is happening in India (land of free cows ,snake charmers, Maharajas,idiotic bollywood dancers and curry). If this was happening in, say for example in Europe ,it would have been different. What else do you expect ?? Even in India ,some enlightened Indians(who are left handed), start having panic attack during this festival, because Diwali is too dangerous for them.
