8:19 did you know you can use the 2 drill bits in the Blum Jig to center punch the locations for the srews? There are 2 orange clips delivered with it that restrict the depth of the 8mm drillbits so they only go in with the brad point and take out the guesswork with the square and the selfcentering drillbit. Looking forward to the kitchen build. Also love how the cabinets look in that green. Nice!
FYI - The Blum EcoDrill comes with orange plastic stops (which are removable and you seem to be missing) for the limiting the travel of the 5mm bits. With stops on it will locate screw holes for you, with stops off it will drill 5mm holes for inserta hinges. No need to prep for screw-on hinges with second step as shown.
I know I’m not the first one to bring this up. I consider a small racetrack oval thru cut on the doors then a 3/16” round over bit. Looking good. I hope your wing has healed up nicely.
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that! It’s pretty insane to look back at some of my early videos, can’t believe how much I’ve been able to learn over the years.
I find your videos excellent! Informative, accurate and well documented with a calm voice! I’ve just bought a Sprinter and hope to do most of the conversion myself. Maybe not battery/electrics but being a woodworker (passion/hobby) definitely will give the rest my best shot! Many thanks 👌👏👏👍
Yea I would have thought so too but I have yet to snag anything after working in there for the last two weeks. They decided on the cabinet pulls and can always swap them if they bother them down the road.
Hello! Question: did you test the room for your legs, when the toilet drawer is open, behind the extra passenger seat? I know one can't judge distances from a video, but it looked tight. I can't wait to see more of this conversion!! Thanks!
You know, there is one project you might try to do: Do the interior of a sailboat. That comes with a completely different set of problems. Do that once and you will never complain again.
The cabinets look great! Personally I'm not a fan of green, I this was my van I'd go with a dark red (my favourite colour) or dark grey. But that's just my taste.
Beautiful work, but i think those draw handles will be grabbing you as you walk by in the narrow space. I would replace with something maybe curved with no angles.
Just to be clear, there is no “health data” on the app. If they want to sell my journal entries then great! Generally insurance doesn’t cover therapy because our mental health system is completely broken in this country. It is half the price of in-person therapy in my area. I love the app and your hyperbolic statements not grounded in fact are not helpful.

Your cabinets look great, but is the total weight not a big issue? In Europe a van is allowed to weigh a maximimum of 3500 kilograms. The cabinets in the campervans here are paperthin en very lite. But they are terrible after a few years, because all the screwholes will be worn out. Good luck with the rest of your build. The quality is excelent! Greetz from Holland
The real question is, how TF do you keep the handles on those wooden screw clamps from just spinning on the threaded part? I have several of them and every handle just spins. 🙄😒
I would have much preferred an actual poop closet behing the drivers seat so you can poop in private, but also dont have to smell it when youre in the car and akwardly have to pull the toilet out into the kitchen to take a poop in front of your wife and have to block access to the front or rear of the van just to use it.
@@craftedworkshop totally understandable, I only really said that noticing how close you're going to be to the kitchen while using the bathroom, maybe it's just me but Id prefer those areas to be separate. Even though this will be for emergencies, emergency poops are usually the worst. I also couldn't imagine having someone have an emergency poop while on the road and you can make direct eye contact with them through the rear view mirror 🤣😅
Those cabinet handles are going to be a pain in the ass in such a narrow space
I kind of agree but it's what they wanted.
Literally came to the comments to say the same thing. 😂
Agreed. They'll catch on everything.
When are we getting the next video of this series? This is an awesome project and series!

Cabinet builds are fun. Been following you for a while. You've come a long way as a craftsman, and I'm happy for your success.
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that! It’s pretty insane to look back at some of my early videos, can’t believe how much I’ve been able to learn over the years.
Terrific work Johnny! That van is coming along nicely! 👍👍

6:44 Flips his shirt up as if the real deal is about to happen 😂
Love how Johnny starts these mid-sentence picking up a thought from two weeks ago 😂
Nice work!
Looking forward to the next installment with kitchen.
Beautiful work as always!!!
That bandsaw looks terrifying.
Nice built….you are a all rounder in carpentry…love your work…
Fantastic work, Johnny! This van is looking awesome! 😃
Looking forward to the next parts!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
I couldn’t imagine having so many cabinet handles in a such a narrow space…I imagine your clothes are going to constantly be snagging on them 😅😂
Yea I would have thought so too but I have yet to snag anything after working in there for the last two weeks. They decided on the cabinet pulls and can always swap them if they bother them down the road.
There is a dust extraction mod for the Blum eco drill makes it so much better

very satisfying, thank you for the video
Adding all this weight will make it easier to shimmy the van out the door!
The cabinets look great! Personally I'm not a fan of green, I this was my van I'd go with a dark red (my favourite colour) or dark grey. But that's just my taste.
Suggest radius hardware that terminates into the drawer front. We had similar hardware as yours, a pant loop catcher...errr.
Beautiful work, but i think those draw handles will be grabbing you as you walk by in the narrow space. I would replace with something maybe curved with no angles.
I too really like the green onyx. What was the finish you used? Thanks
Replace the door pulls. Trust me, Hook City. In a small place, the users will be getting snagged all the time.
Great work
What strength struts did you use on your cabinet doors?
Every door and drawer needs a lock!
It looks great until after the first turn then everything inside them will be on the floor of the van.
Exactly. The doors/draws need to stay closed under the force of several pounds of contents being thrown at them each time you go round a corner
Hey man, how is going your concrete dining table made two years ago? Is it still good?
Looking great
That screw clamp trick is genius. Could have saved me a ton of hassle 🤦🏻♂️
Seriously, not sure how I didn’t think of that one but it’s so helpful!
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.

Instant forward for me. I hate promos for things totally unrelated to woodworking.
Looking good.

awesome videos man. i would love to see even more :D
More to come, thanks!
Which toilet did they use? Or can you say?
You missed out the commentary where your bench doors turned blue😂
One side is blue, one side is just clear coated!
LOL. Did you run out of paint? 🎨🤪
Woah woah woah. What is that magic yellow panel lift for the table saw at :29?
Hah, I love that thing! Here you go : amzn.to/49vL83u
That is so cool ! Great job !! I"ve been watching your videos, for a long time !! Take Care !!!
Awesome! Thank you!
The real question is, how TF do you keep the handles on those wooden screw clamps from just spinning on the threaded part? I have several of them and every handle just spins. 🙄😒
Drill a small hole trough the handle part and the threaded part and insert a small nail with some CA glue.
Cut of the head so you have a small pin
Have those tires been flat since the van was parked in there?
Yup, they’re probably toast. They’ve got new wheels and tires going on once the van is moved out.
How long until you rip open a foot (or just mangle the latch) on that little yellow toilet latch?
It will be recessed in the drawer front, but I'm not installing it until the flooring is in.
Stupid question.. what shoes are you wearing? They look comfortable.
This is just adding more steps to Ikea
Ya

As mentioned, this toilet is more for emergency usage. The space behind the driver seat will be for an additional passenger.

Nah, oddly I've also done French Duolingo.
