I bought Dale's VHS vedio many years ago when bever first were making their appearance in my trapping places and I learned over half of my sets and a lot of anchoring techniques from that old vedio it was money well spent nobody's much better than Dale on bever and as he always says in that video he has dispatched a ton of them and I still learn something about every time I watch his material thanks Dale
Dale what are you doing playing around in that sandbox...lol good video, your demos and knowledge are appreciated. Never knew that bit about otters and waterfowl. Also cool how you dig for medicinal herbs.
When you have to use a relaxing snare lock due to regulations, what relaxing lock would you prefer? The Heavier Weight of the lock on 7X7 5/64ths cable will cause a faster close especially if only slightly loaded, has been my experience. Any 7X19 cable will really close fast w/o loading due to the "flimsy" (lack of cable memory) nature of the cable. What's your take?.....the mike
If setting up a slide or crossover with a snare where beaver and otter are both using do tou change the loop to get the otter or just run ot half in the water, 8 in loop and let it ride

I either like the richart slammer lock or the micro. The slammer actually has a better lock up on 1x19 5/64 than any other relaxing lock I've tried
I haven't been to a convention in 10 years or more. But I remember him.
Well come on out to a convention this year Big Buds. I'll be at the NTA, Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri state convention possibly a few others
@@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 I can only make the michigan state event
@66bigbuds I can't make that one
Getting older I’m interested in the multiple sets to catch all of them at once.thanks mr dale
I understand that Chris. Thank you for watching
Great Demo Dale
@jimspringer2531 thank you. I appreciate you watching too
Instead of a slide wire could you use a long chain or extension cable and stake away from the trail to preserve the trail or crossover?
He's going to destroy the trail on a long chain Travis. Unless there's something for them to tangle on
@@billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 so just run a slide cable or plan on him tearing up the trail and remake down the trail

1/2 in the water with a 8 inch loop Travis.
I like that one!
Thank you PopPop.
Lily says she misses Timber. Lol
😂 somehow Jay I think she's fibbing just a bit. Thank you for watching
Awesome
Thank you Christopher for watching.
Just a quick question, do you preserve your fish in anyway or just fresh?
Freeze it Sean. Thank you for watching
Wished I had more water to trap in , it sure is enjoyable. Thanks Dale
It's a lot of work Mike , but so many more species than land trapping. Thank you for watching
How many and where are you placing swivels on the #11s?
1 at the trap 1 mid chain 1 at the end chain if you choose to Paul. Thank you for watching
