I've done this with ModPodge but the results are very thick and VERY plastic-y...with a fake leather shine. I'm interested in trying matt gel to see if it's less of a sheen. This turned out GREAT! thanks for the video.
Gasp...this WOULD make a great Journal topper!!! I've been trying to find examples of toppers that were gender neutral...no flowers, no gentlemen, no butterflies, not steampunk or travel... I could see THIS project being done with a print of a sepia/antique/vintage statue...something exotic like Buddha, or some cool ancient god or gothic architecture piece ....ooooh perrrrrrrfect.

I’ve wanted to learn how to do these kind of transfers for a long time. When I was younger and did a lot of quilting, I wanted to do a quilt with family pictures but didn’t know how. Now I’m probably too old to tackle something like that. But I enjoyed learning the process. Thanks Amy, you’re the best. Would love to hear how to rust the pins. You probably told us before, but I guess I missed it.

It was funny that you have to put something beneath the gentleman. He looks like a magician sawed him in half, until you do that, then he looks like he is standing behind something. These turned really good and I like how easy it is to transfer an image to fabric. Thanks for showing that again. 💛

I eco dyed yesterday using avocado, Tumeric and tea. It took all day. I love the colors but jeez a lot of work! I don’t blame you for not being interested in doing it. Love your projects!

Good morning Amy! ❤️ Ohhhh you are so dadgum good… especially with grungy. Awesome project! Thanks for bringing us along. 🤗 I’m taking a break from craft room and 5 signature (5 hole stitch) journal. Gotta sew in the signatures, and even after all these years, sewing in the sigs still totally stresses me out. 🧐 I’m so bound and determined to use these stacks of ‘stuff’ (particularly scrapbook papers… it seems I have a Ciao Bella and Stamperia weakness 😢) I end up making journals with 3 or or more rather than single signatures. 😳 It will work out, the dread is the worst part I think. 😆 Have a great weekend!❤️

Wow, did you ever make these look fabulous! I have not actually tried this before because it seems like a lot of work. But I absolutely love how it looks when it’s finished. And you made it look so easy. I did get the box out today. I end up taking a lot of stuff out, and sending it media rate. Shipping has become downright ridiculous. It’s sad. I hope that you can at least get one or two ideas from them. Thanks for showing this process, it really is an inspiration for me to give it a try! Hugs 🤗❤️
These are really cool. I'd do them if i could get over the feeling of rubbing the wet paper. 😂 If your archival pad is still in good shape, think about getting a bottle of ReInker. Then you can always have Dark & Juicy images. 😊❤
So I'm dying to do this and tour using Matt gel medium right? I have regular Matt medium and I have soft gloss medium, would either of those work? I'm so excited I cnt wait for your response. I know your terribly busy so I will be anxiously awaiting hopefully for a response 🙏 🙏 🙏

I use that glue and I love it! I put it in a sugar bell bottle with a metal tip. It works really well.
