Today we have the classic recipe for a wonderful juvetsi, which is beef and orzo perfectly cooked in our oven. Everything you need to cook on the weekend! Enjoy!

RECIPES:
Ingredients
1 onion
2 tomatoes
200 ml olive oil
1 kg beef shoulder
300 ml of red wine
300 ml tomato sauce
1 cinnamon stick
2 bay leaves
Water
Salt Pepper
1 kilo of medium barley
Method
First, fry the chopped onion in the hot olive oil. When it gets colored, shield the meat we had from before, cut it into pieces.
When the meat is ready, extinguish with the wine and leave for 10 minutes.
Then, add the peeled and chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce, cinnamon, bay leaf and water until the meat is covered. Then, boil for 2-3 hours until the meat is soft.
Then, we turn the meat in a pan, while if necessary we add water and finally season with salt and pepper.
Put it in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius, on the resistances, until the juice boils.
Along the way, add the barley and continue cooking for as long as the package says.
Finally, test if it is ready and adjust the salt.

Το μοσχαράκι η σπάλα το κανει αφράτο; το κριθαράκι χρειάζεται να το σοτάρουμε πρώτα η οχι για να μη γίνει μαζα;

Very nice. But, make sure you update the list of ingredients. Orzo (kritharaki) is not barley.
