Good to know, it solved my problem ! Anyway, I don't like to do this for each new file I create. So I tried to look for a definite solution. Here it is. Go to: File > Options > Save In the 2nd row, "Save files in this format", Select "Word Document (*.docx). With this setting, when you create a new file, the "Insert > Equation" button is active.

But how to edit old formulas? I turned this on but when I want to change numbers in formula, everything become bad????
@nikolanisavic8694 select a formula in the old document and update it to MathML.
