Atrium Carceri's full genius on display here. No other artist really nails the cold, lonely, confused vibe of dark ambient while retaining a familiarity that borders on the welcoming. At once, harrowing and peaceful. A stunning collection of tracks. Revelations from the book of flesh is a borderline masterwork.

I add practically all of your songs on a big Dungeon Synth music and let it play on random, every few hours youtube asks me to check If I am still listening, and when this one started and suddenly stopped I was brought back from somewhere else and had to memorize the name, it is now on a higher tier in my list.

The picture resembles an Orthodox Monk. No idea if Atrium Carceri studied this, probably they did, but Orthodox Christianity (the true, ancient form of it) is an Apophatic Theology. It focuses on the Unknown Mysteries of God. Deep meditation in the swirling 4th Dimension where the Angels reside. That is why Orthodox monks go into the woods or caves and succumb to a live of meditation and ignorance of their physical form. Amazing.

Fantastic introduction to the genre for me. I can really close my eyes and feel the cult of techromancy. I also like to imagine that the robosage on the album art is venerating an MS-DOS manual.

Subterrestrial Threshold is my go to track whilst I paint narrative 40k illustrations (especially chaos). I painted a Nightlord to it recently and the track took me to a completely different headspace. Excellent stuff CC.
