Yo, take it from a mom of three teen girls: you need either a shelving unit underneath your sink or a better drawer system or two. Extra stuff should be kept out of the bathroom in a closet to extend the shelf life. Keep it in mind for next house.
P.S. the video idea “What’s in my junk drawer” is SOOOOOOO INTRIGUING to me, I totally wish that it would make its rounds!!! 😁😁😁😁

Yes, I’d love to see everyone do what’s in your drawer! Bathrooms are good but so are the junk drawers in the kitchen! 😂😂😂😂🤣😂

Omg, you laying down on the floor is literally me anytime I start an organization/decluttering project. The last time I did this was in our bedroom. I was binging Don't F*ck With Cats while I worked, and so I would work for 10min or so, and then lay on the bed for like an hour watching the show. In my defense, I am very pregnant, but also not in my defense, I would probably have done it the same way anyhow. 😑
That side part when you popped in to announce the merge was freaking TOO cute!!!

I LOVE this kind of content! I feel like the natural progression of living in a place is somehow discovering you've amassed way more things than you could possibly need/use. it's so good to take an inventory and try and downsize (even if you're not moving)!
This inspired me to declutter my bathroom.....until I actually went in there and tried opening the drawers...think I'll do it this weekend...🤷♀️🤣😂

I’m an organized person married to a messy hoarder and gave birth to two messy hoarders 😭 fortunately, we’re renovating our entire house and slowly my husband is acquiescing to the bright side of life, the organized side. He actually said on his own we need to get pull out drawer modifications for our cabinets 😭 I could die of happiness and joy!

Our under sink storage is so small but it keeps it minimal. We don’t buy a lot of extra products and what we do have is stored in our linen closet.
I love using dollar tree clear shoe and Birchbox boxes to section out the clutter. Thank you, Marie Kondo!

Shelf paper, renters. Peel & Stick vinyl tile (Home Depot or Lowe’s) cut with a scissors to fit, pushed tightly together for home owners. More permanent solution for cabinets and drawers. Choose black, white, wood, or even patterned. Easy peasy to clean and protect your cabinets.

Completely off topic but I would love to see you do an update on your vision board you made last year when you have a chance to sit down and reflect as well as give honest input on it's impact on you and your goals. I am always curious if they are a constant positive reminder/motivator or just eventually fade into the background of life like a familiar piece of artwork that's been hanging in the same spot for a while.

You really need to dedicate an entire day for this stuff, not sure how long you gave yourself. I go through and check expiration dates. It definitely is overwhelming at first, but you get used to it and what’s left is what you use and need. So worth it.

I think you did a good job with getting rid of things this time, you could just use some more boxes and organizers! I would love to see you bring in a professional organizer when youre moved in that could help you get the separators and bins and shelves!

That would be such a good video series idea. You can go around to different junk drawers spaces and see what's there. Also put your scrunched around a papers towel roll amd you can stand it upright and it looks neater. And I love the scrunched and sweater combo with your lipstick😍😱👌

LeighAnn I love how your clean-out videos are like how things go for me. I have the same feelings about stuff and my bathroom clear-outs are always the worst. I truly think you live a full-life and have fun and I am glad you don’t spend all of your time organizing and cleaning.
Bathroom is the bane of my existence! There is probably 10 half bottles of shampoo and conditioners half empty shave cream misc. Tubs and tubes and half empty things EVERYWHERE!
I share a bathroom with 2 teenage girls so it triple threat.

Use empty paper towel rolls and store the scrunchies stretched around them..lay them down and you can stack them top of each other like firewood..lol or use bobby pins to hold them all the tubes together.
I use old bath and body works candles as storage holders. They work great for things like hair ties and booby pins. Just a tip.
You are definitely not alone. Your drawers and cabinets look like mine... I even have the hair tumble weeds lol

Decluttering is always a good thing. Ever thought about doing a collab with someone who does organization stuff professionally? Just to help you start off right in the new place. Might even be helpful when baby comes.
U need a organization unit set in place. Did u check expiration dates? Hopefully when u move u can organize

Save money on pregnancy tests and use the one from the dollar store. they are the same ones the dr offices use. And my own OBGYN recommended it to me when I was trying to get pregnant.

This was so fun to watch and I loved every minute of it! Total missed opportunity to pack away the stuff you're gonna keep but won't necessarily use before you go, though.
I think the spill was self tanner. If you look at the shape of the spill in the back, it's in the shape of one of those mittens people use to apply self tanners and then the extra spots are round like they got on the bottom of bottles, plus the color of the stain also looks like self tanner.

I remember subscribing when you created your vlog channel but it doesn't feel so long ago! But then again I've been here since the hair tutorials in your old old, old? Bedroom setup! Only feels like last year that you were getting your first house ready to move into and I think it was Georgia who helped decorate your bedroom. I would get ready watching you get ready in the bathroom with the big mirror when you were listening to the podcast Serial, which got me started on podcasts! You've never changed which is v refreshing, hope your channel merge goes well 😊 xo

Over the years , we had accumulated a lot of stuff. One Summer, I had been so over clutter that we had 3 yard sales. Now that you are moving, it is a great time to declutter so that you don't have to move things you don't really need. I found decluttering to be liberating. :)

Have you looked into donating some of the products? Like the Johnson and Johnson. Stuff that still has product but you don't use. Some places might take those things.
Laura Lee just did an amazon faves video and she had some organizational items I think would be great bc they spin and you can grab things under the sink easier
