  • Chuck Schumer, the US Senate Majority leader and "the highest ranking Jewish elected official" in America, spoke on Thursday to declare that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has "lost his way" and has "bowed to the demands of extremists" during attacks on Gaza, and should step aside if Israel is to commit to a two-state solution.

Islam isn't a religion that co exists beside others peacefully. That's on Islam. All of Israel's neighbors want to annihilate it including Egypt(a country colonised by Islam, currently bought off by the Americans sending aid), Syria(a country colonised by Islam, Lebanon(colonised recently by Islam), Iran you get the picture. The brass neck of the most brutal colonisers in history claiming the moral high ground always exposes the moral vacuum do gooders on the modern left seek to fill in their pathetic existences. What's happening in Gaza is grim but it's also light in comparison to what Israel's neighbours and the wider Islamic world has done in it's existence yet you dare not call that out as your minders will look at you and growl. As a gay man I have a well reasoned phobia of Islam and I can't blame the Jewish for feeling the same way.

You may already be aware, but the history of US government has always been a history of genocidal classist 'conservatives' alternating with merely-murderous classist 'liberals' from the very beginning. US white settlers and their political allies would murderously invade and/or plunder somewhere against US Federal law, then the US Army would have to intervene...in order to protect the people who broke the law, from 'foreign' and/or 'Indian' retribution, then conservatives, and even liberals sometimes, would eventually, if not soon after, codify 'realities on the ground' - this is how the US piecemeal grabbed territory west of the 13 colonies, Florida, Texas, 55% of Mexico, 'Oregon Territory', and Hawaii - in the great American 'Lebensraum' that Nazis, Russians, and imperialist nations globally were in awe and emulative of.

I'm US-Jewish, currently 42%* of US-Jews plan voting for Trump, a huge historic increase in support for a Republican (a US subculture gone nuts part due to it being unchallenged Israeli-supremacist sub-culture's life work). Since 1920s only 28%* of US-Jews voted for a Republican president, a big reason Biden walking political tightrope as is. There are twice as many US-Jewish voters as there are US-Arab+Muslim voters. World media not covering ANY of this, not even 'progressive' media (it's bizarre, in any previous general election such obvious and semi-glaring considerations would be brought up by media jockeys, but all US-media (leftwing, rightwing and 'independent') norms are off when it comes to the plight of innocent 'Palestinians' vis-a-vis 'Jews' - it wouldn't be the first time in history in the US** that such things occasionally occur.

These are two groups who are fundamentally and irreconcilably opposed due to their beliefs. While we can admit that a two-state solution is the most optimal one, very few top officials in either Israel or powerful people in Hamas want that solution. Neither side wants to recognise the statehood of the other. Neither side is the innocent victim who just wants things to end and for both to respect each other.

Palestinian state sovereignty shouldn't be shackled by demilitarization...no country in the world has ever accepted such a stupid idea. Ukraine is a good example of what a disaster demilitarization is.

If your opinion, though an opinion of wide acceptance can take hold sooner, their is chance the war will cease and Palestinians and Jews will come to terms for peace. Your position in the US government will do much at realization of your proposal. Thank you
