I don’t think I’ve ever played a gatcha game with this many new units this quickly. I’m a whale but this is very rough for F2P/Low spenders. Especially when both prior new heroes have their place in the current meta.
You have a point. I did not realize it was this bad until the viewers told me they could not summon for Mikola because everything went towards Lily May.
@@turtlelagzgaming I can imagine this may not be as bad for people on already established servers with time to build up resources but in my case for example, I’m on a new server that’s 31 days old and man when you search up videos regarding who to build and pull for and almost every meta video has Lily May and Mikola it only exacerbates the feeling of “I need these units but there is no way I can get them”. I’m imaging they’re trying to capitalize on the Asia launch and the whales over there 😂 Love your vids btw. Has helped me greatly in every area of the game - especially PvP!

I hope she's skippable. I'm already falling behind and I have no resources to build another hero. On a personal note, I don't like her design. She's just a curvy cat girl in a corset. That's an uninteresting and lazy design, and it doesn't make much sense lore-wise. But AFK Joruney is recently making tons of money, so the devs probably know what they're doing when it comes to the visual aspect of the new heroes.
I think she will be skippable as we are overdue for an A rank with a niche role like Ulmus. I like her character design, but I agree that her outfit could be improved.
Just remember everyone was complaining only a little over a month ago about there not being new better units and things were too slow. :). The game is getting better imo and it looks like it'll keep getting better. I don't think everyone should be getting EVERY hero. Let the whales whale, and let the f2p/low spenders collect who they like and be smart about their choices.
I agree. Only mandatory hero in the recent banners so far is Lily. Good in pretty much every aspect of the game. Mikola is definitely more niche and skippable. Mainly used alongside an already invested Phraesto in dream realm. I like the current pacing of units as long as we aren’t getting Lily May level characters every banner.
