Yes, people fail to realize that.. They can make the show more dramatic that way. Notice how Season 5 nationals was at Sheer Talent? Maddie lost to Ava, The team lost to Broadway Dance Academy ( Ava's mother's studio ). That season everybody lost it... It made us keep watching. If these girls didn't go to Sheer Talent they would have easily all received 1st. The numbers were to good not to win...

The then there was one performance was amazing! I can’t believe the judges gave them 3rd place. I think it might have to be that the powder was overwhelming. There was a lot of powder, and when Nia put it on her face it looked like the powder hurt her eyes
i just wish that lifetime could stop putting super intense music before the place that the girls placed for, especially when they're not 1st. It makes it so obvious that the girls got 3rd for the group award cuz of the super intense music before it
