It really helps to see a more realistic day. I'm also glad I'm not the only one who leaves their kid in the car seat while they're sleeping lol

Just found your videos and I’m loving it; as much as I love this type of content as a new mom it can be hard to find realistic moms. I absolutely feel you with laundry and cleaning; nap time is clean time 😂 keep up the good work!

I don’t see (walking) the dog? He/she is a part of your family to I hope? 🍀

so he’s a rescue dog that we got before the kids were born. he can get super nasty if he feels overwhelmed so until the kids are old enough to understand how to act around dogs, we keep them separate. lately though we’ve been able to keep them together supervised. I try to take him for walks, trust me! He only lets my husband put him on the leash. he is not your average dog lol but he’s our 3rd baby nonetheless!❤️❤️

@@MommingwithMandy I’m so glad. Most of the times I see that people have dogs, and they are so good for them, until kids are coming. Then the dog no longer counts 😥

@riannenadels432 i know what u mean & it breaks my heart seeing that! but no he is definitely still just as spoiled & just as loved. & he prefers being downstairs when the kids are in bed bc he really doesn’t like to be bothered & loves sleeping all day in our bed so it works out!🤣

It is less important to keep a home running "smoothly" and more important to attend to the children. Let the home be messy, theyre kids, cant control all the elements of the house 24/7. Also noting a lot of doting on nico(sweet kid) but neglecting daughter in the baby car seat and left unattended in a high place for a VERY long time while making a fire station(also note she was sweating as her hair was matted)? I work with CPS and know how these situations can turn horrible. Also left on her own in the play gym structure while attending 1000% to chores with tiktok folding patterns almost avoiding engaging with her? Fold the clothes with her not while in a separate room, show the colors, talk to her, engage. Nobody needs to be a perfect parent and just needs to be a good enough parent but there seems to be some potential post partum blues needing to be addressed. If i sound harsh, good, it's not judgement but caution from someone who works with lots of families who also thought they were doing the right thing.

I truly thank you for your comment, as I think it's a perfect, real life example of how and why the child protection system in this country is constantly failing our children! Are you aware that a recent survey conducted by the Dept. of Health & Human Services concluded that 72% of all reports received by CPS regarding abuse or neglect were never investigated by CPS?? So only 28% of children that CPS knows are being abused and neglected are being saved. And not because they are under-staffed and over-worked, it's because they are more worried about trying to find neglect where there is no trace of any! The baby was sleeping while we were building/playing with the fire station. I agree it probably could be a hazard to leave a baby alone on a high place for long time but I don't think you can tell the layout of my home from a video. My dining room, living room, playroom & kitchen are all in the same vicinity in an open-concept layout. So while doing some of the laundry, the baby was right behind me, you can see her feet moving in the video, I was 5 feet away from her lol. The rest of the laundry was done in the same room while the kids played together as seen in the video. And I have no idea where your concern regarding the baby blues is stemming from. This isn't even a vlog, it's more of an instructional video so I don't understand how you're coming to that conclusion. Personally, I believe a huge problem with our Child Protective Services system in the U.S. is the mental health of it's CPS workers, which can be seen in your post.

@MommingwithMandy As a mom I have to say something too from a place of caring. I don't think the mentioning of CPS was intended to attack or insult rather I believe CPS sees too many avoidable tragedy due to no one's ill intention, in this case I could see the car seat sleeping issue being brought up. We've all been there leaving our child in the car seat for a bit longer so we get a break or get some stuff done real quick, but carseat is not a safe sleeping space, especially if it's for the whole length of a nap. If a stranger's harsh comment was intended to save a mom from unnecessary irreparable heartbreak for life, I'd take the harshness over feeling offended any day. We've seen many daycare tragedy with SIDS and the cause was so frequently leaving infants in the carseat to sleep. I do not think anyone was questioning your intention as a mom, but to show concern to help to do what's in their power to prevent anything possibly bad to happen to another mom. I truly believe anyone works with CPS have seen way too many tragedies than you can imagine, I'd believe they know what they are talking about than taking it so personally. At the end of the day, it's your life, your baby and your motherhood, no one can tell you what to do, or judge you, but what's the harm in a little cautionary tale because when I saw the video I had the exact same concerns and couldn't help but to say something so maybe, just maybe it will help another mom.
