Nobody cares for gross. I weekly run just a bit under 2300 miles for $5700, take me little under 4 days and spend home the rest of the time. Anyone who wastes their time on the road, specially without making at least 6 figures - is an idiot. Gross income means, only stupid people “brag” about gross income….hence, the reason for any industry, or individual’s, financial problems and/or a financial decline.
I’m sorry to hear that. It’s been a rough two years. What is he doing now? There is more to numbers than just rpm or gross. I also don’t treat every week as all my money. I give myself a salary. However, the more gross the truck makes, the higher the ceiling is for profit for the truck. You can only do so much with rpm, especially in this current market. I will say, this was 5k+ profit week. It’s really hard to net that if the gross isn’t there to back up the rpm. Having a fuel efficient truck really helps.

Cant remember the day or which channel but the driver said he liked driving naked at night. He said drove the at night and loves that time.
I believe it. I see plenty of people who don’t know how or refuse to dressed enough to be representable.
My father is out of business after being owner operator. Its all about the net earning. Gross is how they fool you into thinking youre making money.
