Hey nice reaction brah. NRL(Natiaonl Rugby League) is so much better live. There are sights and sounds that occur that the TV wont air or is able to catch live. Highly recommend if you can at least once in your life to see a live match. Try get to las vegas if you can afford to make the trip for the annual NRL tour. It happens only once per year in las vegas and for the next 4 years only. 2024 was the 1st year. So thats the opening Round 1 match, once a year, in las vegas, until 2029. Next year is going to be a different set of NRL teams going to las vegas and possibiliy a womens NRL match happening over one evening. So within the space of 3 hours. So you will get to see 2 NRL matchs and one NRLW match, all back to back. Thats 3 games. It goes fast. Plus unlike NFL, unless theres a major injury or some other random phenomenon, NRL dont have huge breaks between sets. Its just continuos.

I LOVE NFL. But its less a sport than it is a game. Think muscular chess with a bit of running thrown in. I mean even the off season is gamified through the draft and free-agency (amongst other things). But NRL is non-stop, relentless, hit after hit, run after run. At club level Greg played for Rabbitohs and Billy played for Storm, but in the early 2000s Inglis actually did play for Storm alongside Billy in his really early career days

I LOVE NFL. But its less a sport than it is a game. Think muscular chess with a bit of running thrown in. I mean even the off season is gamified through the draft and free-agency (amongst other things). But NRL is non-stop, relentless, hit after hit, run after run. So the team you're watching here is the Queensland State of Origin team that achieved Eight Straight...... meaning they won the series eight years straight. You asked for the top three players.... well, that's damn near impossible JT (Jonathan Thurston), one of the best the game had produced Valentine Holmes, Cameron Smith, and Darren Lockyer. The State of Origin is played once a year and is only three games..... the only participants are Queensland and New South Wales, and it started in 1980..... it doesn't matter who you play club footy for each week is about your State of "Origin" so only those from Queensland or New South Wales can participate. If you view clips from any of the players I've mentioned, then you won't be disappointed they were all greats of the game. State of Origin is the pinnacle most players strive to achieve. There wasn’t a top 3. For most of GI’s run he had Cameron smith, Billy slater, Jonathon Thurston and cooper Cronk. He also had Darren Lockyer Justin Hodges, Israel folou, petro civaniciva and Karmichael hunt. Most of these guys are in the top 10 to ever play in their position. At least 6 are in the 3 in their position and Lockyer, Thurston and smith are top 5 all time in all positions.
Gotta do the rest of the big 5. Smith, Lockyer, Slater, Inglis and Thurston. Those were the days ❤
State of origin is kinda pro bowl but serious. It's the best players from their area vs the best from the other area. Queensland vs New South Wales. Only the best get picked at that level. During the time of Greg, Billy and a a bunch of other guys Queensland won 11 out of 12 series which is a record that may never be broken. They were that good bro✌
Billy and Inglis played many origin games together because Queensland is a representative team made up of the best players who grew up in the state. At club level Greg played for Rabbitohs and Billy played for Storm, but in the early 2000s Inglis actually did play for Storm alongside Billy in his really early career days
State of Origin is like Pro bowl. It is run between Queensland Rugby League and New South Wales Rugby League with eligibility rules and Greg Inglis is the reason they added eligibility rules in state of origin.
Your watching state of origin. Which is like your pro bowl. You need too watch the games live. The video doesn't do the actual plays much justice. Live it's unreal the speed of some of these guys. But Greg and Billy also played together on a club level for Melbourne storm.
The three best in that Queensland side would have to be Inglis, Slater and Thurston.

Inglis and Slater were the finishers, but the team was a cheatcode because of Jonathon Thurston and Cameron Smith. They were the brains of this team. Thurston was the Tom Brady of this team.

I don't think you could recieve a definite top3 answer for this team. It was a once in a generation team, the only answer you could really get are top 3 favourite players in that team. They all worked together beautifully.
Yep they both on the same team Queensland Maroons. And they both retired. BILLY is now the Queensland Maroons Head Coach and he is too good to be a Qld Coach.
Top 3 is probably Johnathan Thurston who you hear a lot, Cameron Smith is probably up there as well and then third would be either Billy or Inglis. This team won 8 origins in a row and has got to be the best state of origin side of all time.
All the players on those 2 teams are the best players from those 2 states NSW and QLD but if you wanted the 3 too dogs in that QLD side at the time would be Thurston, Inglis, and slater but the whole team was unstoppable in them days
Inglis and slate played club together for a few years, with also smith and Cronk in that team. Greg moved to another team pretty decently early on though.

This is Queensland v New South Wales in state of origin.bits a 3 series we have every year state against state. So alot of these players are on different club teams. I guess it's like an all stars game in that sense.

I'm a QLD fan from PNG a country north of Australia. GI & Billy Slater are two of Queensland's best players. They are immortals. In my country, violence between fans do occur as a result of these series of games. The State of Origin games is God's greatest creation!💪💪💥

This is the Queensland ( QLD )team, it’s NSW v Qld and all the players that are picked ( best of the best from both states ) leave their clubs for a best of three series of State v State. All the players from QLD come back to QLD because that is where they were born and were they played league before making it into the NRL, same as NSW. It is the greatest 3 games of Rugby League you will ever see in your life as there is a lot of bad blood in this games history and QLD has a passion that cannot be matched because of that bad blood. It’s a long story but in the early days Qld were treated like shit and were not welcome in the NSW Rugby League circle ( that’s what it used to be called before NRL ), so when the game was reset in 1980 to be state players return to their home state, a fucking legacy was born, that legacy is QUEENSLAND MOROONS
