"Chop Suey" by SOAD on Yamaha DTXpress IV & Superior Drummer 2.0

Playing along with multi-tracks I got from Rock Band 2 rips online, my first video testing out the DTXpress IV. Some of the video takes are a bit off from the audio... Also using Superior Drummer 2.0 with Metal Foundry and a slightly modified Lip Snot preset.

@Procyon58 Couldn't quite find the right snare for this song... The original was pretty obnoxious as well. As far as the undies go, you know you like it.

I have a midi to usb adapter that I use.

Incredibly easy to play with only 30 min or learning the song and I'm not even a SOAD fan. Fun though...

yeah i have that also and the alesis works well,,but im wondering what setting the dtxpress has to be on,,ie does it have to be on a certian preset drumkit say like kit 50 or is there a midi function i have to change inside the settings of the dtxpress,,im a bit stumped,,the pc just isnt seeing it,,

@cgl5432 I just used the default settings for sd and it worked fine. Are you having issues?

Hi mate,could you tell me what setting to have the dtxpress on in order to make it recognised on the pc,,i used an alesis trigger io and it all worked perfect with sd2,,but im unsure how to get the yamaha wotking,,cheers dude

i've got the same kit as you, a dtxpress iv.. i'm trying to setup superior drummer to have that hihat control you have -- is it possible you could send me your preset file?
