Makes me laugh when I see a band like this get a few thumbs up!, one of the many 90s underrated bands just because we had Oasis and Blur. I mean these guys and Pulp were as good as those. Another underrated band were Shed Seven. There was a glut of it though just a lot of bands so they got lost in the middle.
Cast didn’t have the power or influence of Oasis. A lot of their stuff was frothy melodic lightweight puff. Oasis actually influenced British culture in the mid to late 90s and were the biggest band in the world for a short period. Cast never ever got close to that.
Clair i couldn't agree more i was there 2 and what a Gig it was Class.I seen them live in my home Town Middlesbrough probably 97 just after All Change was released
Made Oasis sound like a band who jammed every Saturday in a rented studio. Had the pleasure of sharing a J with the guitarist. We happened to be wearing the same M65 jacket. I was on backstage security at the time.
They don’t sound that great ...and the crowd only start clapping at the end cos they had finished there set ...and I’m a big fan have been for 25 years
One of the most underrated bands of the 90's, John Power is a songwriting genius.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Calm down
I'm so pumped that they are supporting Oasis, it's going to feel like a time machine next year with Cast, Ashcroft and Oasis!
Still singing it like he means every word.
Just love John Power's phrasing so much--lagging behind the beat in such a compelling way...

shed Seven but DEFINITELY Cast. Deserved WAY more credit

@@MarlboroughBlenheim1 no but they arguably should have done, their songs were awesome and instrumentally they were as tight as a nut.
@@MarlboroughBlenheim1 How did Oasis influence British Culture? I'll pull you back at least ten years every time.
@@MarlboroughBlenheim1 Your nuance of Britain in the 90s is bs.
Now that’s how to play live! Perfect quality and still packed with energy all those years later.
Thank You John Power
Cos I wondered what his name was after that other fella's told me in his essay.
Ageing covers band??? They are just about to release there 6th studio album .Top, top band live!!
Definitely ageing... I was 10 when i bought this on tape. 30+ now and i know ive aged. The front man has aged loads but still has good hair
Amen to that. Brilliant live and still have good tunes 6 albums in :)
Totally agree. Saw them in the 90s a few times, class band.

CLASS ACT, GREAT BAND... POWER & CO
Excellent
great band
They were brilliant at Rochdale feelgood festival.
CAST best band from up north, then THE CHARLATONS, then NORTHERN UPROAR.
john farenden Northern Uproar. Bass player on lead vocal. They were gonna be the next big thing in around 95
The la's top the lot
Seen him in 2023 and he was amazing
Da' Yanks give dem 11 out of 10!!
Assuming it's the same dude, he looks better now then when they were young pups. Under rated group for sure.
Yes John Power and very underated
Underrated my fav 90s band by far there was to many dodgy suede blur pulp verve oasis shed seven tons more I watched cast in2013 in Bristol class
Keith O'neill on the skins 🙌
Fuckin fantastic band!!
Now 32
Fuckin brilliant
John Power is looking more and more like Mick Hucknall
Fuckin top tune.
Beardy man rocking the isle.
omg. The drummer is on speeeeeeeeeeeeeeed😬.
“Look out tae sea/see n tell me wot we came here for”
Vespa, the time surfer
Looks like mick Hucknall
The rest of the band may slow down but that drummer keeps going.......Duracell mate!
Stole the show at Knebworth 96
this has been mixed boss.
Bruh... as someone who only goes to madness concerts this is dead 😂
This is an amazing song regardless though
These should be headlining Glastonbury instead of the new and weird rubbish including grime.
ZZ Top on guitar
Not heard these for years. Sounds like an ageing covers band.
Cast were a '90s band from Liverpool and they were synonymous with the Brit Pop era. The line-up hasn't changed: www.casttour.com/
You need your Ears checked at best, worst case scenario you dont have a Soul .
Miles better than oasis or blur!
Scouse accent sounds badass singing
Made Oasis sound like a band who jammed every Saturday in a rented studio. Had the pleasure of sharing a J with the guitarist. We happened to be wearing the same M65 jacket. I was on backstage security at the time.
Guitarist's a bit behind the beat
h
huyton scallywags la
you never even tryed..........
Cast > The La's
Madison Steorts singing a La's song doesn't make them better
Kayser Soze I like their style better with this song. And it's the same singer/bassist from the La's, and I'm pretty sure he wrote this song , alright
and it looks like the same bass power shower played in the la's
the la's played alright, it was in the set for the last year or so power was in the band
lol The La's are much better than Cast listen to one of their live sets they're brilliant; ruclips.net/video/6-ASKnIIx4g/видео.html

Too Fast, slow down....
Who knows there best song was there she goes ?
Wrong band Kenny. And songwriter.
crowd is pish, band is great
CAST YOURSELF INTO EMANCIPATION
who’s the homeless guy playing guitar
Skin Tyson. Also Robert Plant's guitarist...
They don’t sound that great ...and the crowd only start clapping at the end cos they had finished there set ...and I’m a big fan have been for 25 years
Awful
It's all dynamics and no performance.. That's bands for you.. Unless your Roger Daltrey that kind of playing just destroys a song..
MusicalElitist1 The music runs ahead ..and the songs struggling to keep up..just like you
