    Love watching those videos on the weekend. I can relate to so much of this. I am at that stage where i feel I am almost there, so close. The stage where some give up and some persist. I do feel like I am fighting for survival now, with very limited resources; small account, living expenses for a limited time, etc. My starting point, which is just a few months back, is very similar to yours. But every week I look back and feel like I have learned like it has been months. Practice during the day, analyze what I did or could or should have done at night, and study and learn on the weekends. Now, I find myself at the right place at the right moment everyday, I just need to execute better. I cannot afford to lose much so, yes it does make discipline and risk management a priority over anything else, but sometimes it also makes me too fearful to be wrong and I miss the squeeze, or get in get out, too much comissions... But I am alsmost there and I have to say that what helped me the most, aside from the determination that comes with having to make it, are your videos Ross, so thank you!

    • @th3orist
      @th3orist 13 дней назад

      I wish you the best of luck but i am really not sure that the outside pressure that you have to "make it" is beneficial here. Trading is hard as it is and if you have actual pressure to produce profits my guess is that it is rather detrimental to the endeavour. Just be careful man. How long have you been learning or practicing daytrading?

    • @tania.1.618
      @tania.1.618 13 дней назад

      @@th3orist I understand your point completely. However, it is not an outside pressure to produce profits. I have to make it because that is what I want to do. Yes, having limited time and resources to achieve this goal does affect my decisions sometimes I have to admit it. But I'm trying to focus and not think about it as much as I can, working on it! Actively practicing since July.

    • @th3orist
      @th3orist 13 дней назад

      @@tania.1.618 alright i wish you the best, keep in mind though that the average time it takes for a daytrader to become consistently profitable is around 3 years if they stick with it, meaning trading almost every day, learning, backtesting etc. Making a decent income from daytrading is in and of itself insanely difficult. I would say its easier or more likely for a person to become a brain surgeon than a consistently profitable daytrader. I am not exaggerating. Doing this in less than 3 years is crazy good on top of that but doing it under a year would be an actual miracle. So again, please be very careful with your hard earned money. I don't mean to discourage you, but i urge you to be very careful since i really don't know anyone who became profitable with under a year of experience.

    💜💜💜 This might be my favorite interview so far... So many things touched on with such emphasis and passion... I am still in my learning curve and trading in a small cash account and 1 thing I have done which is helping me to have a honest view of my trading journey is that I bought myself a journal, now I have been learning since last March and trading in a cash account since April but I just started journaling every trade at the beginning of November and writing a 100% honest account of my trades, so I can start letting it truly sink in, what I am doing wrong on red days and what I am doing right on green days and in time I think this will help me in so many ways as I learn and push forward on this great journey and opportunity...

      @DaytradeWarrior It was, along with all the other videos you put out for all of us to learn from every day. I criticized you on your last small account challenge, saying it wasn't a real small account challenge because of the amount you started with. I was looking at it completely wrong and unfairly to you when all you were doing was teaching us what we could do if we only put forth the effort and maintain the discipline. I have to tell you now that I look at it differently, and now I cannot wait until I am in the position to see $13,000.00 as a small amount and one day because of what you do for so many, I will be! So please, if you would forgive me for my harsh criticism, please ...

    Love the interviews with successful traders. Inspiring! I don't know if Josh can answer this but I'm curious how he executes his orders on TOS. Is he using the ladder or buy/sell market hot keys? I find using the ladder frustrating because I have to take my eyes off everything else and fiddle with The ladder to get the execution working. The ladder is the only way you can put limit orders in with offsets during premarket but sometimes I find it easier to use buy/sell market during regular hours. The hot keys in TOS are useless premarket. I wonder sometimes why TOS doesn't have programmable hot keys with offsets, and sell percentage capability. Seems like everybody wants that. Thanks for another great video!

    Great interview, Ross! Josh...Remember, a .50 cent move on a $10 stock is 5% which is EQUIVILENT to a .10 cent move on a $2.00 stock. I personally believe it is easier to catch the Latter as opposed to the Former. I trade somewhat like you in that I am more successful on the lower priced stocks (.50 to $3 stocks). I've recently been able to catch .10-.30 moves. So, I believe it is not about DOLLARS. I think it is more about Percentage and favorable volatility.

    I now do 5 min chart and swing trade a couple trades a week and have taken small 2% of total port cuts along the way, doubting myself if it was a good idea, knowing that on a good day I’d get in before some of my stocks run for 100% within the week.

    Wonderful interview. Like hearing this guy talk. Great insights! As a new trader I feel like I’ve found kinda niche ways to scalp. Seems really similar to what it sounds like he’s doing. Listening to him has given me ideas to help refine myself. Awesome! What’s even more interesting is, when you first start you think it’s beginners luck, and it really is UNTIL you analyze what you’ve been doing and start to understand why it’s working. Once you understand why it works, it’s no longer luck. This is what an “ah hah” moment is. Thanks guys! Warrior trading is the real deal and I love you guys, for it!
