Secret for long life is in their lifestyle .... they enjoy life, local food, wine, herbs, socialize, positive thinking, material thing are not in center of their lifes etc

Local honey helps with local allergies. It's the pollens why local honey is better.
That honey may have something to do with their longevity but ... their worry free lifesyle is more likely to be the reason .

Ikarians are lucky. In many parts of the world, bee populations are collapsing due to pesticides and environmental destruction.

Ha ha ha! Find a local beekeeper who sells honey. It is much better and will also temper your allergies if you have any...eating the honey produced frome local flowers and pollen helps accustom your body to the local air. If you don't have any local beekeepers then I would move somewhere that does!! 😁😁😁
This is the famous Blue Zone island of Greece. There's more than honey going on here. Go read up on Blue Zones...

Don't expect Ikarian honey to be a magic bullet. The people there eat a whole food diet with a lot more plant based foods than we tend to eat here in the USA. They are just one of the Blue Zones. Blue Zone populations live longer healthier lives and none of the rest of them eat Ikarian honey.

Blue Zone people eat a lot less meat than we do here in the USA. One of the Blue Zones is the Seventh Day Adventists of Loma Linda California. They live about 10 years longer than other Californians and are taught to avoid meat by their religion.
Of course, there will now be a mass run on this honey!

@@anastasiapruitt8110 me too! i have very weak immune system so I am used to getting sick every month let alone the sinusitis that gets triggered by a single dust. But now, its gone, I can be around a gazillions of dust and I am still fine.

Olive oil is the healthiest oil, but avoiding oil is healthier. Olives are healthier. Whole plant foods are healthier.
ShakespeareCafe - I read that people who look around bodies of water live longer because it lowers the stress, the blood pressure, and that’s what happens with people who live in islands. It can be any body of water, creeks, beaches, rivers, waterfalls, etc. Looking or hearing it affects positively affect our body.

I took 2 tps of (Fir Vanilla honey, honey of life as they call it) this morning, which I bought from Etsy.com, it's from another island, but it is Greek, and the taste is amazing, but a little bit pricey... But worth it... you can also find Greek honey on Amazon...

Jean Smith - I did some research and a good honey should be unfiltered, raw and organic. There are many of them in some supermarkets.
