Cheers mate. I live in Germany and it was hard to find out, how to remove the lightbulbs. With your video, it was a easy thing. Thank you. The only hard thing (not your fault) was to find the hooks when I put the cover back on its place. But when I left the headlight off the cover, placed the cover in position and "clicked" the headlight afterwards to the cover, it was easy to find the hooks by looking through the holes for the headlights. It worked! Thank you!
You made it seem effortlessly but after 2 hours later. just to change out a lightbulb, I FINALLY got the cover off, and put back on the "hooks". Also, for those that are to attempt this removal, be very carefull to make sure the gaskets are in place where they need to be on the edge of the fairing itself. Another person to help you is very much advise. Spoke to a HD mechanic today and they dread this awful design to align the slots with hooks also. Not an easy task.
I was told by a mechanic at Harley to remove headlight section from fairing leaving a big hole, install fairing then snap headlight assembly in. I've yet to try it.
I guess im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any tips you can offer me

Clear instructions really like the fax you identified the individual screws as I bought my bike used and could have been mixed up

Same here, just wanted to upgrade my head lights to LEDS, what a frickin nightmare, yes the good old Hooks, piss poor design.
I have a 2012 RG, i cringe taking off the fairing. PITA!
I have a 2008 RG and it's easy to remove but a bitch to re install.
