I dont know... this vid feels out of touch with reality...trying to save money but gorge on a whole chicken per person. If your aim is trying to educate/showcase the consequences of overspending (expensive rings/wedding, ... and oversea trip) it hasnt reach the majority of your audience.
They're RUclipsrs, and there's used to spending money everyday. I'm pretty sure that even if they say they're in a tight spot, they expect more earnings to be deposited soon from their videos, so they're not in a real position to panic, as the rest of us would if when we genuinely live pay check to pay check and 90% of each check goes to bills before we can use the money on ourselves including food. It's not good to compare ourselves to them and then judge them or be mad at them for not suffering like everyone else does. It'll just make you feel bitter towards people you don't know, and in the end you're only hurting yourself
I love the both of you point of view and honestly you are both right, that is why I only watch RUclipsrs in sync with my own reality so I don't end up jealous, angry and bitter and at any point we outgrow ourselves I unsubscribe and move on.
They only need to survive on tight budget for 1 week. They'll get big amount of salary next week. Also people who went to gym regularly need to eat a lot of protein like that.
they mostly have side dishes and seasonings, you need meat and carbs for a healthy complete meal, you can't eat ramen every day. They just bought the minimum they needed.
Agree. What they have are all condiments, side dishes that has a lot of sodium and antioxidant compounds, a lot of instant ramens, frozen premade food and dried stuff... They don't have any fresh proteins like meats stored at all. I see they bought a lot of carbonate water stored in their fridge. I do think they should buy carbonate machine like soda stream that comes along with specific bottle instead of buying those as water bottles from grocery store...
Please do more of these challenges. It's fun to watch ❤ Also you can do this 24 hour challenges and many more challengs videos ❤❤ And also you can make challenge video of living with all the foods in the pantry or fridge
Good job on money saving! Agree with some posting about finishing up what’s left in the cupboard and or even in fridge. When I saw the cooking during the chicken part, I can’t eat a whole piece for me it’s a serving for 5-6 people, but you guys love meat and poultry so I can see one can eat a whole thing 😂 Indulging while in a budget is not bad. 😊
I love watching your guys vids but yeah... this just ain't it. Speaking as someone from a country where majority of regular working people are surviving on food banks and living on around $5-10 a week it just feels really jarring and tone-deaf to see you say that living on $50 is impossible and joke about an "empty" fridge when people even in well off countries are starving and especially when the first seconds of the video were of a designer store and buying the latest smartphone....
Try doing a pantry/fridge clean out challenge. You have plenty of food at home and only need to buy your main protein and a few smaller things. It will be good to finish all that food to get fresher food.
I heard that SK is going through an extreme economic crisis, I hope things get better soon. I absolutely loved this video as a poor student, all the healthy and tasty proper homemade meals under budget look beautiful! Please make more if possible!
This doesn’t feel genuine. I don’t believe you don’t have money for food. It’s just something you tried out for views. Please be genuine and authentic, that’s how you will engage viewers.
As much as I appreciate and enjoy you doing this challenge, because I think everyone should be conscious of their spending habits, but also on the environment by not overconsume on food and things we don't necessarily need. But you saying you have nothing to eat and you show us a fridge and pantry filled to the brim with food feels a bit out of touch, as there's a lot people that lives on the bare minimum every day. But you did really well with you challenge and it's not easy to change your habits straight away 💪
With this i also realized the difference in foods from different countries, here for a week we simetimesmake one big meal that last a few days n eat it for 3-4 days straight
I love dried squid so much and it’s so expensive where I live. I couldn’t find a recipe I liked that was similar to the lady that I was buying it from previously. This is so good! It suites my tastes so well. I fear I will eat the entire bowl today 😅
I have been watching you for some years now, but I have to say this feels very out of touch. First splurging on so many things that are arguably not a necessity (designer bag, newest phone) then trying to save up on a basic need like food. It doesn't make any sense and feels like you are mopping while the sink is running. What would make sense is to address your spending habits and make lifestyles changes. I hope I'm not speaking out of line, but it really is not that hard to order coffee or eat out for a week. This is just my opinion, and I am sharing it with you to let you know it somewhat alienates your audience.
I’m surviving on $0 a day. I can’t spend anything as I’m only getting one shift a week. I made less than $100 this paycheck and I have exams I have to pay for that cost $36 plus a practice test I have to take that’s $7. But I’m surviving and that’s all that matters. FIGHTING!!!!❤❤❤❤❤ you guys will be okay
Thank you for the beautiful video. Thankfully 🙏🏼 you two have a lot of food. I have 4 kids and my husband and I had to get food from food banks and most of it was expired by months. He got promoted and it still wasn’t enough to feed us for two weeks but thankfully he got a steady schedule and I got a part time job so we didn’t have to pay for a baby sitter. He pays for a week of food, rent, bills and our car and my check pays for a week of food. We just have to keep praying and moving forward.
Hi! I really really loved this video! It is a nice challenge in this new inflation world. 🫣 I really enjoyed the video, thank you cozy boy and cozy girl for your hard work in editing videos. It is really so much harder than we think. We love you! 🥰
@@Lu-li1ei I think it's good to have this reality check, one can't help to compare themselves with people whose videos they watch and it's good to realize most of the time, they are living an entirely different lifestyle from you. That said, I too tend to see my fridge and pantry as empty, even though I objectively know I would be able to live off of it for weeks. One gets used to eating well very easily.
think about it in this perspective, if they're used to spending money everyday, especially on the whims of their appetite, it's gonna be hard to change that habit even if they find themselves in a tight financial position. I myself have found myself with nothing but $30 on one of my credit cards and still used that money for delivery food because I was so stressed and just wanted to eat away the stress
I was shocked to see how much food you already had at home and yet still went out to buy groceries on a daily basis. 😮
You have lots of food in the fridge. Use them before buying more. Do the Pantry challenge. Saves a lot.

I am confused as to why , with cupboards so full, you go shopping for food. Why not use what you have?
I think the same, they can save more money if used what they have. Well as long as they're happy tho
I’m thinking maybe they were mainly out of fresh produce… but I agree that they have so much already! Why buy noodles when you have them 🧐
Agree
seeing you guys being transparent about your spendings make me realize that i should be worried about my money in my bank account too 😅
I thought people always check on their balance before and after shopping 😂
@@rizumary i do but i sometimes underestimate the amount of money i'm spending 😬
@@picnag lol the money is gone after a blink 😭😭
excuse me but their house is full of food and yet they buy more. they should just use the food they have... ITS A LOT

OMG! You have so much food at home that it could last you a month. Next challenge, eat what you have at home.
you guys are literally eating a whole chicken per person in a meal 🤠 the bubble of financial problems is wild
facts lol 😅
Damn that chicken will last me 5-6 meals at least lol
That really surprised me lmao I thought they were going to cut it and freeze it for the next days, thats what I usually do
Highly recommend to do a meal plan for the week and then do food shopping 😊

you should invest in a device that make carbonated water (with just regular water) if you love it so much 😋
Am I the only person to see 27 mins and jump like crazy😂🎉

The challenge made the video very fun but without losing the essence of cozyday, in addition to learning new recipes

So great video. I really enjoyed watching your video thank. U cozycouple
I'm old. I saved. Now I enjoy life. Hope you can save and buy a home someday.❤
