I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Me being a person of color (proud black), it's so many COMMUNITIES not neighborhoods that are black and because of GENTRIFICATION the dollar value as far as land appreciation will rise and it would help preserve these communities. The neighborhoods listed they really don't welcome black neighbors period.

@@erind2261 yes, everything was very close by! I lived in Sterling Magnolia ( new name: Magnolia Heights apts.) Love it!! Safe, quiet, good neighbors, no loud music or young parties ( that kind of place!) Check it out! Just bought a house, but beforehand, this area and apartment complex was perfect!

Those top 5 communities are the high end areas. As a realtor, she can DEFINITELY show you neighborhoods that are more budget friendly. She has many RUclips vids with homes costing HALF the price.

I would like to relocate to north Carolina from Pittsburgh pa. but the it's so so expensive 😫. beautiful place but expensive. I need to find a place to rent. I have my cdl so I was going to look into the transit jobs in Charlotte but I just know I can't afford to live in Charlotte looking for somewhere outside of Charlotte.

No Dilworth? Myers Park is the best. 5 minutes to downtown but need alot of money to buy a house there. Sold our house 5 years ago for nearly $1 million and the new owners tore it down and erected a $4 million new place. But Freedom park is great and from there it is a short bike ride down the greenway to downtown (uptown)
