The “Her” clip before “Famine Asylum” was perfect. Match made in heaven seriously. Probably my favorite set released yet. The recording is fantastic ❤ Will definitely be returning to it a lot over the years I’m sure.
The mixing for this video is really clear. But I don’t think it’s meant for Nothing where the instrumentals and noise are supposed to overwhelm the vocals.
The vocals are supposed to be drowned out by the instrumentals. For some reason whoever mixed this video put them at the forefront. I guess they don’t know the band that well
Actually it looks like the festival itself didn’t know how to mix and put vocals and drum at the front. When guitars are supposed to be droning forefront
I love Nothing, but i was at this gig and it sucked. The guitars were even more invisible live than in this mix, so the only thing you could hear was drums and vocals, which are probably the least important in this kind of music.
