I loved the clothes, well those that I could actually see. I think they got a little too creative with camera angles and long distance shots. It's a fashion show for God's sake, your not vying for an award for cinematography!

Some things I loved about this show: the women’s sillouettes were beautiful and wearable. I loved the Burberry check as stripes in one blouse. I loved the kitten heeled evening shoes and the draping on one particular black evening gown. I was amused by the reference to the bicycle commuter with the man’s suit belted with a bike lock and with an umbrella bandolier across the chest of that beautifully tailored suit. Some things I did n’t like. I didn’t like the over extended soles on some of the women’s flats. They looked like clown shoes. I also thought the huge, pocket like pleats in the front of some skirts reminded me of belly packs with no usefulness as they had no zippers or any way to carry anything. As usual, some things were great and some things were....not visually pleasing. I wish Burberry would get a clue and include some women and men in their shows that look like people you would see on a London street.
Wow! Burberry has always been a great couture house! But the last several seasons have sucked! Welcome back Burberry! I’ve been waiting for a Collection like this Spring/ Summer 2019 for a very long time! One question...must you overwhelm me? My pocket book only goes so deep! Bravo!
Burberry does not do couture in the true sense of the word. Couture is only approved by the Chambre Syndicale in Paris and must show during Couture Week in Paris every January and July. Ricardo Tisci did do couture when he was with the house of Givenchy but Burberry does not do couture.

I love this collection...polished, clean, feminine. A great antidote to all the "ugly fashion" that is out there right now.
