3401 takes a run round the Almondell Model Engineering Centre, Circuit D

3401 "Bantam Cock" is a 7 1/4" gauge model of an LNER V4 class 2-6-2 tender locomotive.
Almondell Model Engineering Centre (AMEC) is the new home of the Edinburgh Society of Model Engineers (ESME).
Whilst other tracks are still under construction, circuit D is complete. It is the smallest loop, and modelled in heavy gauge rail recovered from Oban and Comrie. You'll see the railhead stretching to the West that will become our largest circuit, and we run alongside Circuit A and B for part of the journey. Those loops are also currently incomplete.
