I live the ryobi. I think I still like it a bit more than this just because it seems to pick up larger items and has the constant run option. The Ryobi stick vac is legit
@@ToolReviewZone Yeah it’s pretty good. I have the PBLSV717B and run 9Ah batteries in it. I like how you can take out both rollers. It works good on carpet too. I was just wondering if I should switch to Kobalt or just keep this one?
I thought that was a great dad joke my friend…lol! I recently went the “on sale” Dyson route and bought an adapter to use M18 batteries. The adapter also turns the trigger into a switch so I don’t have to continuously hold the trigger to operate, which is now great! The runtime is also much better using M18 batteries!
That's "Real Nace Like!". I wasn't aware there was an adapter to use M18 batteries on a Dyson. One of the reasons I've steered clear of Dyson is because of the expensive proprietary battery. I have tons of M18 batteries so that would be way handy.
I got a refurbished Dyson D11 as well. Gotta admit, it's way better performance than the Ryobi stick vac. Dyson knows what they are doing, but I'd never pay full price.
One question... does it stand up by itself? I currently have a dual-roller Ryobi that is about 2 years old and still working fantastic and still stands up on its own. Prior to that I owned a stick vac that would not stand on its own. Never again. There's nothing more annoying than always looking for a place to lean it because you need to move a chair or something out of the way.
Were those some of those vegan cookies brother?? We were hoping you posted the full video today, cause that short was real naaaaas like. The wife loves the way it empties. Great content as always.
@toolreviewzone Great content Clint! I love all my Kobalt tools and can't wait to try this out. And who in the world likes yogurt over Cheez-It's?!?!?!?! 💥🤛💥
I've been looking at kobalt more lately. They have some pretty legit tools from what I hear and see. Thay said, 100% agree about that yogurt brother, makes no sense 🤣👊
@@ToolReviewZone Yeah, its just their cordless stick vacs, not too different from the LG, or Dyson. But the nice thing is theyve got removable batteries, a ton of attachments, and a base that empties out the canister into a vacuum bag.
On bagless vacs, you _have_ to change the filter frequently if you want the motor to last. I know repair folks. Bagless vacs are a burned-out-motor repair windfall (bagged vacs, the only vac I buy for my primary vacuuming, have two filters: the bag, and a small motor filter that does last forever as the bag is the primary filter). That said, this little (and big) vac looks like a handy part timer for small, quick clean up jobs. Nice review Clint. Thanks.
Does this vacuum handle concrete well? Thinking of getting it for the basement since it's half finished, but we do have transitions from carpet to concrete and if it doesn't handle the concrete surface well it may not be worth it for us.
This thing is INSANE
5-year tool warranty, 3-year battery warranty.
That's real nice like!😊
I put a shoulder strap on my kobalt 24v shopvac and its great for the house, car and stable !
I really want a stick vac now
Finally, I was using a Kobalt battery converter for the craftsman vacuum for a while now
🤣😂🤣😂
Your videos are legendary.
😎😎😎👊
Another great tool from US!!
But no... Canadian hardware store don't have it =(
They have Craftsman stick vacuum though... Not sure it is comparable.
Never tried the craftsman Taylor. For some reason, I can't seem to get that interested in their lineup. 🤔
How does it compare to the Ryobi pet stick vacuum? I got a brand new top tier model for $100 a few months ago and it works great.

if skil updates their stick vacuum to something like this that would be real nice like with my current skil tools

@@eosjoe565 I didn’t either until I researched it and decided to pull the trigger on the purchase when the Dyson model my wife wanted went on sale!

Great question brother. It has to be leaning up against someone as it will not stand on its own
So it needs a penn dot worker to prop it up on, like shovels and rakes.

@@ToolReviewZone lmao!! No cheese steaks here either brother..
Aren't most cookies vegan?

Well Clint. You know what you gotta do now brother. Ryobi not ryobi vs Kobalt vacuum face off.
Sounds like a good idea brother

Not in the Koɓalt system but it seems like an ok stick vac
Would say it's the best, but they did a good job on it 👊
Wish that came out last year. I got a Samsung one last year that's real nice like.
Wow, never seen the Samsung. I'll need to check it out 👊

Shouldn't have any issues in concrete. It's the thicker carpet you may need to worry about though.
@@ToolReviewZone Good callout. Our basement carpet is pretty thick, so it might get stuck in there.

Brushless with brushes 😅
