Interesting insight from Tracy Chou about Twitter's chasing of the perfect moderation policy being the enemy of the good. Meanwhile, Block Party can cater to anyone's needs on an individual level and all the moderation decisions are ones they themselves (or a continent of trusted allies) make. Twitter could have done this easily since their inception without even having to lean on some magical AI to make it all better, but they didn't.

As amazing algorithms are for optimizing suggestive content as bad it can be for people who will get radicalized by devicive voices and I think it is unhealthy for society in the long run if not it is recognized that there should be put dampening meassures on this cycle. I think that having a not interested on youtube now is a step in the right direction. I think you guys are very thoughtful and I think bringing the toxicity levels on social is a very noble path to take as a toolset to incooporate in an already excisting ecosystem.
