Its was about his addiction to alcohol and heroin. You will see that in The Drug in me is you Reimagined. The originals were done in 2011 and the remakes were done in 2021. He won a ton of awards for this one. Great Reaction! Just subbed!

He was suppose to go on tour in 2020 with Tom MacDonald but Covid hit and they couldnt do it. Glad U came across you guys today. Keep up the great work.

You guys nailed it on your assessment. It was about addiction no doubt and the vampire part was a parallel to his addiction infecting others essentially. If I recall he and Page are both recovering addicts. I know Ronnie is for sure. Video was beautiful, and also filmed at their home. Ronnies vocals in this were some of the best I've ever seen him do. He's grown so much as an artist.
Well...welcome to the wormhole that is Falling In Reverse. The band is awesome and Ronnie Radke is a beast. This man can sing, rap,scream and is a comedian too. He started with Escape The Fate and formed FIR while in prison. There are sooooo many songs I can tell you to check out, but honestly there are to many to name off. I loved their newest one Watch The World Burn, but my favorite will ALWAYS be Chemical Prisoner. Maybe you guys should do the trilogy next

If you're looking to fall into the FIR rabbit hole: welcome. The songs are best viewed in sets... For Example this song with original - I'm Not A Vampire. Ditto the duo of The Drug In Me Is You & the Reimagined version. The original trilogy is Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, and Drugs.
Need set in order is Popular Monster, Zombified, Voices In My Head, Watch The World Burn & the newest rekease, Last Resort. If you watch them out of order it's ok, but there is a theme that runs throughout those ones.

Yes Paige aka Sayra Bevis is Ronnie Radkes long term live in girlfriend. And Yes Ronnie was addicted to Heroin and Opiates he even spent 2 1/2yrs in prison due to his addiction and bad choices, this song was actually written when he was in Nevada High State max Security Prison 12ish years ago
Ronnies " first " band was Escape The Faith , that he made with Max green , and Monte Money ! Ronnie used to be an heroin addict , and eventually went to jail , for violating his probation , and got kicked out off ETF ! In jail Ronnie got clean ( and have been ever since ) and formed his new band FIR ! Epitaph Records ( who also signed Ronnies first band ETF ) Still believed in him , in spite off his prison sentence , and signed Ronnie and his new band . and they have been , with them ever since . Ronnie has always liked , that he had creative freedom with Epitaph , to do what he wanted ! This remake is , taking from FIRs debut album "The Drug in me Is U " ( Ronnie wrote all the songs for their debut album , while he was incarcerated ) Exactly same lyrics , as the old , but totally diff version ! They also did a remake off The Drug in me Is U ( The Drug In me Is Reimagined ) , U should deff check that out ! Loved Ur Reaction , hope to see some more from this band ! Liked and subscribed ! This video was directed by Jensen Noen ; and he won 6 film awards for it .Jensen Noen has directed most off FIRs videos , since he did Popular Monster for them in 2019 ! Popular Monster worth checking out as well .

Yes, it’s about addiction. Specifically his heroin addiction. The original video is set in a rehab clinic and the song is super pop punk upbeat and hilarious, making this version a STARK difference!
Oh…this was also filmed at their house during the pandemic.

Great reaction! Ronnie Radke is one of my top 3 favorite artists. He said, he did this revamped version to give his creativity free reign for once, being fully aware that is not a radio hit song. Personally I'm glad this song exists, but it's too theatrical for my personal taste.
I hope you'll check out more Falling in Reverse. Popular Monster and Chemical Prisoner are two of my favorites by them and both pretty different.
Oh, Ronnie and Paige have been living together for years and are still going strong.

FIR brought me here so I don't know what is usually in Bootchar's wheelhouse but FIR is so diverse I promise there is something in their discography that'll hit him just right. It's pretty much all I listen to anymore because Ronnie is one-stop-shopping for all my musical tastes, lol.

This is just a handful from his daily playlist: Lamb of God, Iron Maiden, Unearthed, Slayer, Clutch, and Napalm Death. Anything that's even close to that would be appreciated. It's hard to find new music that's good that can satisfy that hardcore itch that he has.
