This is an excellent video and resource. Thank you so much for making it. I've realised I need to add a few extras to my S&C routine to make it more running specific. back to walking around my kitchen with a band on!
Thanks James for the email reminder - knee drifting in is definitely me - left more than right so will aim to include in my daily routine and see if it helps,
Thanks for the vid. Pretty sure I need help with all them! Not sure if you’ve explained before but what are your thoughts on heel drop in shoes or minimalist shoes? Thanks
Hello, thank you for your good content. I was running for a while and up to 15 kilometers without any problem, then my left leg started to hurt. I went to an orthopedist, he wrote an MRI scan and I have a slight Minx tear problem. For my left leg, I need physiotherapy and muscle strengthening to delay muscle contraction, but my problem has not been solved. There is no way. Thank you for your help for the treatment
Hi James, that hip flexor exercise has certainly helped me over the last 6 months, although I do limit it to once a week as I can be quite sore afterwards. To improve further do you recommend more reps, higher resistance or more frequency?
I feel the hip flexors fatigue in core workouts when the excercise requires lying on the back with legs straight up in the air. It's hard to get a 90° angle. Just pulling them up and letting them down slowly is hard. So it is fine my hip flexors are working hard for those kind of excercises?
Different colours denote different resistance so choose the one that offers you decent resistance but isn't so tough that you can't keep good form with the exercise
I was a good runner at school.
In those days I could sprint.
That was about a 100 years ago.
A lot of useful stuff here James.
Thank you. 👍

Awesome stuff, as always. Thanks for sharing your great knowledge and experience with us all!
Best explanation I could find...
Thank you so much ❤
Excellent video James. Very helpful. Covers majority of fundamental running form issues that don’t often get talked about.

Thank you. This was so helpful! I loved that you explained the problem that each exercise addresses.
Very concise and informative. Thanks
Thank you. Will be adding some of these to my routine and recommending them to athletes I’m coaching.
Super insightful! Thanks James
Good Man James. Thanks for another great video.

@JamesDunne have you any advice on pushing a wheelchair. I just completed the Dublin Marathon pushing my son in an adaptive wheelchair.
Man you are 👍 very essentials
Is this type of content in the bullet proof runner program? Like will I get daily exercises to make sure my muscles are stabilized the right way etc.
Yes indeed, this type of thing and more. There's a 7-day free trial if you want to have a look around.

Funny, the thumbnail pic for this for the before kind of looks like how Jakob runs lol😂
8:35 My spine feels like it's popping when doing this exercise, but only when lowering my right leg. Is this bad

Reduce the amount of work you do in one session so you get less sore. Then do it more times per week. This will allow you to do more work per week.

Hip floors weren't my problem, it was the psoas.
Psoas is a hip flexor.
@@drpetesudbury8562 I'm not a doctor, I didn't know that. At least the exercise I found was easy and the pain instantly went away.
This video is basically 15 minutes of describing how I run. Suffice to say, I have work to do.
Same! Glad I’m not alone
Here from the email.
Bands: does it matter which color the band is?
