I appreciate these videos. I only wish I could come exploring all these amazing places with you, I live in the uk and theres hardly if any abandoned places to explore. Our country is just too densely populated. It amazes me that all theese places were once used and built by us humans to only leave it to decompose. Good work, subbed.
Apparently you found a small mercury mine. That long tube is a rotary kiln for burning the ore, long pipes next to it, that are going up and down, are the condensers for distillation.
That was quite an adventure you had. Was that a tarantula by the way? The tunnel was a beauty and the desert view was just breathe taking. I can't wait for part two. Thank you for sharing
Once more great vid. But be very careful when exploring old mines always be mindful of air purity, the mine may contain damps AKA mine gasses further in to them. If you feel hypoxia coming on get out immediately it doesn't take long to succumb to damps. When we explore old mines I take an air quality sensor from my department. Just be careful, not trying to be a bring down or know it all. keep up the good work stay safe.
Good to see you have another video up love them I have to ask 2 questions 1 What kind of spider do you think that was that you saw? 2 What kind of chemicals were in those containers?
That place is a front! There is something major under that area!! They went to great lengths to keep it hidden. Oh if only we knew. Thank you and God bless you.💕
That is a mercury distillery ,mercury was used at these mines for processing the ore , You need to think about the contaminants you may get into around some of these old mine sites , mercury is something you really can do without getting on you or breathing contaminates from the dust being contaminated . In the early years some people mined mercury and made more money mineing it then others who mined for silver and gold.
For a place that is in the middle of nowhere sure is trashed ( the kitchen area) Wonder if Coyotes, or people did that. Cool find, sometimes while watching others abandoned videos I start thinking, IF a zombie outbreak would happen... well we all know where we would hide XD
how could I meet with you? I have been to many of the places you have and explored them. I have found something that you may not know of, and have lots of info. I love your work, and I would be doing the exact same as you, but I became partially disabled. would love to share
Hello there, I would be very grateful for any information you have on places to explore and see. I currently have about 5,000 places mapped out just in Nevada, not including California, Idaho, and Arizona. Feel free to join ExploreForums.com, there are a lot of us on there who love Nevada and exploring it. We could talk more on there since it has a better PM system. :-)
You need to come explore grafton Utah and silver reef Utah we go and explore them sometimes they're ghost towns completely abandoned but left in pretty good condition
Explore With Us ya of course I'm actually going to go explore them next week and upload the video on here....they're actually almost peaceful it's crazy
Just visited Grafton, what a great location. Sorry I missed this message, RUclips doesn't update me. If you have any other suggestions of places to visit, please email me so I don't miss it. 🙂
THERE was a time when there were SILVER mines all over the deserts in arizona and Nevada, the price of silver was to low to make any money on it,BUT NOW you might make millions.............
That chicken coop or whatever it was looked just like the one from the movie Changeling... If you were one of the few, like me,who actually saw it. Great film btw.
Explore With Us let me know if you do so I know I'm not just drooling over how good Jolie in that 1920's look. Sometimes less is more! But also, it's based on true events. Name of the town where the psycho lived was Wineville, CA. Also, I think this may have been directed by Eastwood...
+StrangE2u Waterworld I loved that movie! It was a few years ago when I saw it on tv, and I would like to see it again. Angelina is great as the mother! I think she's a terrific actor, and very beautiful woman. I must watch it again now!

Spider: "Suh dude, lol"
That little farm looks like something straight out of Fallout New Vegas.

those are lofing sheds for cattle and horses, and some chicen pens
You know, a mil surplus geiger counter might come in handy for you on some of these trips out.
Thanks, I carry a Geiger counter with me. :-)
Wow! Who would think there was enough water in that dry looking environment to flood a mine?
Thankyou for showing us. I think I would have stayed well away from that spider.
What camera equipment do you use for the videos?
In this video I am using the Canon 6D.
how could I meet with you? I have been to many of the places you have and explored them. I have found something that you may not know of, and have lots of info. I love your work, and I would be doing the exact same as you, but I became partially disabled. would love to share

Have you ever been to the Ruby mountain area? it is in nevada and I have seen stories of very strange things running around there
finally the video i have been waiting for, lol
cute little spider!
I think those pipes were used for extracting large amounts of mercury
Very cool
interesting what you see in 3:43 "Flying Rods" Strange Phenomenon!
That pipe thing is a retort for recovering Mercury from the proses I beleave
JMHO
Great subject matter, great vid.you guys sure can pick them. Can’t wait for more
You need to come explore grafton Utah and silver reef Utah we go and explore them sometimes they're ghost towns completely abandoned but left in pretty good condition
Bree Bennett, thank you for the tip, I love ghost towns. 🙂
Explore With Us ya of course I'm actually going to go explore them next week and upload the video on here....they're actually almost peaceful it's crazy

that's cool are you from lovelock
Thank you. No, not from Lovelock. :-)
when will part two be coming out?
Shouldn't be too much longer :-)
Dave H. would probably have been British or perhaps Australian or a New Zealander as he put the date in the UK way, 19/4/68.
THERE was a time when there were SILVER mines all over the deserts in arizona and Nevada, the price of silver was to low to make any money on it,BUT NOW you might make millions.............
Death to spiders! Yuck!!
how far would u have to dig to get water
I am not sure to be honest.
huge tarantula 😲😲
first off....that spider was a tarantula. that mine looks like an abandoned mercury mine.
Yes, it's a desert tarantula, we see them all the time and they are harmless. I think you're right, it was a mercury mine.
Yah that spiders tiny! So small...
Great video , Thanks for sharing, your videos need to be longer. where is part 2 ? I can't find it.
that is a mercury distillery
Thank you for the info. I wasn't sure what it was, but I think you're right. :-)
That structure is a processing center for whatever was mined there
love da videos
Thank you. :-)
That chicken coop or whatever it was looked just like the one from the movie Changeling... If you were one of the few, like me,who actually saw it. Great film btw.
Never seen it, but now I am going to look it up. :-)
Do you mean the one with Angelina Jolie where her son disappears and then they try to give her a different boy?
Sharon G Exactly the one! Based on a true story too..
Explore With Us let me know if you do so I know I'm not just drooling over how good Jolie in that 1920's look. Sometimes less is more! But also, it's based on true events. Name of the town where the psycho lived was Wineville, CA. Also, I think this may have been directed by Eastwood...
+StrangE2u Waterworld
I loved that movie! It was a few years ago when I saw it on tv, and I would like to see it again. Angelina is great as the mother! I think she's a terrific actor, and very beautiful woman. I must watch it again now!
your welcome
:-)
Those pipes are part of a retort for processing mercury JMHO?
Thanks for the info. :-)
thanks
all those pipes and long tube appears to be a condenser.
those pipes might have been used for refining material
That "little spider" was a black widow spider your lucky you didn't get bit
The plant was a mercury retort system
Not Sure!! Probably Mineing , in Some Way !!
It looks s if it was a mine for gold or a wash plant for something
You need to metal detect the walls.
Hold it hold on now. OJ has left the house
Looks like a Fallout game!
