I don’t know why people don’t like the new Final 80 for Base. You guys have to understand that Base is Metal Sonic’s map, he’s buying time for the doctor to escape. He’s not running from the Exe he’s fighting him. He doesn’t care if he lives or not, He wants all the smoke. He’ll only run away if Eggman tells him too.

The old ambient theme should come back like how Hill has the blood storm before the exit spawns. Base should have that playing as the EXE beings hacking the facility and initializing the meltdown before the exit opens
