Thanks guys for that video. Very helpful. I own the same golf. But want to know where can I buy those coil over suspensions. Been struggling to get a dealer around. Where did you get those ones?
Took my car to wheel alignment center the other day the guy told me my right rear rubber is about to finish besig om klaar te word. I'm hearing this knock sound could it be that rubbers you talked about
Hello, I hope you are well. i recently started to follow your youtube channel. I recently bought a vw golf 1 / mk1, all damaged on the outside, but the interior and engine are fine, and I'm recovering the exterior, and would like to apply the coilovers, if you can give me the details of those coilovers, I'd be very grateful. thank you.
Fitted the exact coil overs a while back, I was making a knocking sound on the back wheels, I removed the helper springs, the knocking sound was gone. Drove the Car for about two weeks, the knocking sound on the rear wheels came back. Any suggestions?
How often have you bottomed out and blown you shocks being as low as you are without Bumpstops? I’m considering the same but want to hear from anyone that’s done this?
@@LateLateCustoms Maybe you should look into getting these suppliers to sponsor you. Then if we buy from them they could give us like a 10% discount or something...
@@LateLateCustoms All the best mate. Keep pushing, great things will come. I'm a new subscriber, and also a new MK1 owner. Looking forward to more content.
@@LateLateCustoms nnnah not really ey🤔...but a lot of people don't actually know that it should also be adjusted. Just that when i did the shocks on the car i noticed the wheel was skew then had to learn about camber
You may as well have fitted scaffold poles, those shocks are nasty, removing the helpers will only make them even worse The top mounts look absolutely f*#@d as well, Absolute Ghetto install 🤣
I'm a fan bro. Don't own a Golf (yet) but the knowledge is really necessary as I'm looking into lowering in the coming future.
Now that is the whole point of this channrk buddy. Later u can do your own mods by simply watching the videos and gaining some knowledge 💯
Hi, Love your work man... please do a video on fitting a performance camshaft on a mk1 golf.
I'll keep that in mind buddy 💯🙏

It could be bro. Try to replace it and u give me some feedback if the knock is away 👍
Howzit...how is the ride on the JOM blue line coilovers and is it worth the investment over eibach springs and shortened shocks..which is preferred

beautiful whips man. thanks for the tutorial
22inch socket
Lol 🙈 yeah meant 22mm socket 😅
nice work guys but if you guys can help me with the price of installing air in your golf I'm all the way from Windhoek Namibia
Air suspension will cost you minimum R30 000. Reason for that is because for R30k u will get genuine parts

But you didn't show how to adjust the rear. Like how you used the wheel in the front to measure the ride height
Hey what is the set up and size of the wheel rim and tyres for first rabbit
Be careful not to damage shock shaft with that vice grip
Very much noted buddy. Thanks for the view and advice.
19inch & 17inch sockets... whaaa doos its millimeters lmfao
What remix of can't feel my face is this???
I think it is of dj Chello

Never. These coilovers last long. Only time we bottom out the shock/coilover is at a show when we turn it all the way down
LateLateCustoms Thanks for the fast response 👍🏽 What brand Coilover are you using? I know you mentioned the cheaper ones?
LateLateCustoms Do you feel the same without strut cap spacers?
ok thanks.but what mk1 uses too much fuel and have a lil bit of a black smoke?
Black smoke means over fueling
Thanks!!
How much is your coil over
How much were the coil overs? Where can I buy them?
Shaba mags buddy

I wish it was that easy. I tried it and but it doesn't always work out as we would hope
