    Awesome video! Thanks! I just picked up a 2007 Express Cargo 4.8L V8. After watching your video I feel like I could totally change the oil myself now. Gotta love breaker bars. Lots of things in life are all about having leverage. Subscribed and looking forward to checking out the rest of your videos!

    Hey man, I come from Brazil living here in Florida. I really appreciate your video. Thank you very much. I have a Chevy cargo van 2500 and I’m trying to Lear how to replace break pads, installation of inverter, alarms and another’s things. If you know how to replace break pads it’s a really good ideia make a video about it.

    I always pre fill the filter, especially when it's vertical like this one.

    nice oil change ^_^ I'd prolly only hand tighten the new oil filter. I'm so psyched to buy a standard set of sockets for my new rig!

    Good video sir, but i dont understand how come your new oil is fully black already? On the next oil change you should try some engine flush it might disolve all the sludge still in there

    Never use any tools to tighten up the oil filter. Hand tighten only it will tighten up more on its own.

  • @SupraFootwear2013

    No need to ever use a filter wrench to tighten a filter.

      Over tightening an oil plug can strip it. Using a jack handle on a ratchet for leverage can ruin the ratchet gear.

    Add oil to filter before install get oil to engine fast.

    • @AccountInactive
      @AccountInactive 2 года назад

      Never do that. You risk introducing contaminants that will bypass the filter because you poured directly into the clean side of the filter.
