    Lyrics:
I’ve accepted that pain will change me
    Loneliness will shape me
I’ve accepted that I will emerge
    With uncertainty turned to strength
    All the failures
    All the pain
    Can’t touch me now
    Antifragile
    The more I am strained
    The more I can endure
    Letting go of empty weight
    Anger, doubt, fear, and hate
We must learn to love our fate
    Empty and become wind
    Releasing your dead weight
    Nothing can touch you now
Once you’ve faced it in full
    Empty and become wind
    Releasing your dead weight
    Nothing can stop you now
You don’t need, need to heal
    I won’t fear it
    (I don’t need to heal
I’m right where I need to be)
I am where I need to be
The world is malleable, not me
We must learn to love our fate
    Empty and become wind
    Releasing your dead weight
    Nothing can touch you now
Once you’ve faced it in full
    Empty and become wind
    Releasing your dead weight
    Nothing can stop you now
You don’t need, need to heal
    We are scared
(We are more often scared than harmed)
    We suffer
(We suffer more in our minds than in reality)
Am I who I love, or what I’ve lost?
Am I what I feel, or what I fear?
Am I my past, or my path?
Am I my body, my voice, or my name?
    Only after we’ve lost everything
    We’re free to become anything
    Only after we’ve lost everything
    We’re free to become anyone
    Only after we’ve lost everything
    We’re free to become anything
    Only after we’ve lost everything
    We’re free to become anyone

    About Forever in Transit:
A focus on the journey and growth rather than a fixation on the end goal or destination. The sensation of floating, suspended in the air, never quite reaching your intended destination - carried over peaks and valleys of high energy progressive metal and complex, multilayered ambience. Armed with an ethos of artistic freedom and a forward-thinking mentality, Forever in Transit aims to take the listener on a sonic journey without regard for established convention. Led by Buffalo, NY-based multi-instrumentalist Dan Sciolino, and featuring a diverse collective of musicians, Forever in Transit creates sprawling compositions built around a progressive metal skeleton while showcasing influences spanning a multitude of genres.
Forever in Transit released their debut album, States of Disconnection in 2018, which explores how we engage with the world around us, our sense of identity and community, and how we frame our reality. Each song deals with a lapse in connection in some way. States of Disconnection was followed by an EP titled Re:Connection in 2019, which includes a compilation of songs written during the recording process of States. They plan to release their follow-up album, A Coming to Terms, in 2024, featuring returning guitarist Jeremy Schroeder as well as newcomers, vocalist Chris Lamendola, and bassist Daniel Ross. The album is mixed by Diego Tejeida (TEMIC, Devin Townsend) and mastered by Andy VanDette (Porcupine Tree, Rush, Devin Townsend). A Coming to Terms is an exploration of the process of understanding and unraveling who you are, untangling the knots of bias and attachment, and ultimately learning to unconditionally accept the person you are, as you actually are. Intricate, high-energy progressive metal passages interwoven with ambient soundscapes, A Coming to Terms offers plenty to pull you into Forever in Transit’s unique take on prog.
