Nice to see Louis again. Very impressed with the fit and finish of the GrimmSpeed Trails kit. Appreciated the step by step install of the product. Keep up the FANTASIC content!
@Avenged Media I have Rally Armour mud flaps, and 15" Method 502 set in some Yokohama Geolandars. Down the road I'll lift it, but baby on the way and trying to finish and tune the LGT, same color and tails as yours.
Very exciting mods! Congrats! One question: will the caps from the video fit a 2021 Crosstrek with the 2.5L engine? One easy mod that I did was putting in hood struts. I picked some up cheap for $60 and installed them in no time flat, which is amazing given that I have practically no background with cars!
question, i want to make my 2021 base trek look like the new 2024 wilderness edition. Do you know if someone can recreate the plastic cladding on the sides for my base trek?
Could make the same argument for a lot of hobbies if it’s not what you’re in to. Most car modifications aren’t investments, but we love this stuff and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Now i know why the 24 crosstrek wilderness has beefy plastic on it. Looks good

Daggum, makes such a big difference. Looking good Louis
Doesn't it? So stoked on how it looks! Wait until you see it with the lift and wheels, it's insane
Looks awesome! Can't wait to see the end result of everything. I feel so left out with my 14 Outback. No Grimmspeed Trails parts for my car.
Thank you! And damn, that's tragic... Hopefully the have plans to make parts for you!

Really good video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Now it needs some Geolandar MTs, a TorqLocker, skids, rockers, and a winch!
To be totally honest, that's a bit overkill for what this car will be doing as a daily driver and weekend adventure rig. At least for now!

Yup, they will! This is actually a 2.5L model as well

Other than the Grimmspeed fender flare kit we installed in this video, I’m not aware if anything like that
what cleaner are you using to clean up the engine bay?
That’s Griot’s Garage Multi-Purpose Citrus Cleaner
Drilled holes and didn’t use touch up paint. Isn’t the sheet metal gonna rust now?
No metal was drilled, only plastic
Will the flare kit fit on a 2015 crostrek
Unfortunately not, these are for 2018+
Hey bro, would the flare fit on crosstrek thats not lifted on 225/75/15 setup?
I’d imagine it would! We actually put this car back on stock struts with the flares and wheels and it looks great and clears problem
@@avengednick clear problem?
@@oOs4MzOo sorry, I meant they clear no problem
@@avengednick great thanks
Do u have to take the wheel off to install the flares?
We had them off for other reasons, but I believe yes you will need to for some of the mounting points
@@avengednick do you know which side need to be off? All?
I think the engine shrouds are kinda dumb unless you are using it for a show car.
To each their own, that’s the beauty of modifying car. I think the black is subtle enough it just looks like a higher quality factory option.
Why is Louis looking hella cold?
It was a nice, comfortable 28 degrees in the garage 😂
Frist ❤
My guy, thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video
What a useless waste of time and money
