They wouldn’t even have to get back together; they could just be civil and find some peace within their relationship before their final send off. But I think that the Lindsey being a finalist thing was just a myth though because everyone wanted her and Duncan or Harold.
Lindsay getting kicked off Action the way she did was REALLY frustrating. The season dropped in quality after she left, and of course the idiots booted Harold next, so there was nothing left to be excited about

@@orange33340 I still don’t understand why she was on the heroes team, my two guesses are either the writers just didn’t fully understand her character because different writers for her, or more likely imo she was added to the heroes so they’d have more drama like the vultures. I’m a huge Courtney fan but in no world should she be on the heroes team.
Courtney was always my favourite character. She is a very realistic person but at the same time so interesting to follow, her personality in general is exhilarating.
She isn't morally good but she isn't completely evil either. a human, a human with flaws and perks.

Hell, Duncan literally cheated on her with someone she was friend-ish with. I'd be mad mad too if that happened to me.

Imma be honest, you CANT cheat if you were never in a relationship in the 1st place. But Courtney and Duncan were like in the middle of that, they never explicitly said they were in a relationship but they had a mindset of so. Making Courtney justified because Duncan basically played with her, the love triangle is mostly Duncan fault and it gets on my nerves how everyone either blames gwen or Courtney.

I mean Courtney's hatred for him is justified, but him hating her? he literally has no reason to. Plus you cant say it was bc she wasnt loyal or smth, bc the only time she flirted with another dude was when they weren't together, AND was fake (in action to justin) but there were multiple times when he took advantage of her not being around and was unloyal to Courtney (for example in island in the episode he got eliminated he let heather snuggle up to him, even if it was a trick he didnt hesitate, he just let it happen.)

No one talks about how her actions are justified in World Tour. Like think about it. She was great in the beginning of the season until Gwen and Duncan. It’s understandable how she angry at a girl who she was a forming a friendship with. So World Tour was a good season for Courtney. She went after Lindsey's boyfriend then spent the rest of the season being manipulated.

Courtney is one of my favorite characters, but how she was made in tda made me mad showing he bosses around Duncan and abusing him. I think she got more nicer in tdwt until they made the whole Duncan and Gwen thing causing her to get more violent and violent. This most likely made her scarred making her a brat. I know Duncan still loves Courtney even though he cheated on her. And I don't understand why Gwen said, "She wasn't his boyfriend at the time!" Which I don't understand. But I still blame this on the creators of total drama and how they made Courtney an brat who always calls her lawyers for one little thing which made her last longer in tda.
Edit: Also, they made Courtney hard on herself because she wanted to be a lawyer. To be honest as much as I feel bad for Courtney, I also feel bad for Duncan. I also am annoyed by the fact how they created Courtney.
Don't blame the creators blame CN. Because basically "They wanted to show kids what cheating is and how it results in breakups". We already have a show called cheaters for that so chill. ;-; Also, In my opinion this is what partly caused her downfall of her character and the show entirely. I will never forgive them for making her fall in love with some country sleazeball instead of trying to work things out with Duncan and talk it out which shows maturity. I honestly feel bad for Gwen also all of the hate is going to her like- I barley see any Duncan or Courtney hate but I still feel bad for them also I also feel bad for Trent too he didn't deserve to be dumped and eliminated he went crazy over Gwen but I still felt pretty bad for him after all the things he has done for gwen
in season one, she was all about friendship and teamwork. in season five, she completely gave up on friendship and teamwork all together. for the friendship part, i think that's on duncan and gwen. when she finally made up with gwen, (still s5) her hopes came back about friends and everything. she became even more lighthearted. especially since she got a boyfriend that was "somewhat loving". then mal showed everyone the list, and she lost everything.
As someone who has Courtney as her favorite, her derailment is just sad and she could have development in action instead of derailment. I do understand why people hate her and i respect their opinion. She could have been really good in all stars and world tour and could have fix her bad writing but no.

Am I the only one who really likes Courtney’s progression of becoming more unhinged and crazy? I honestly think it’s pretty funny. You can even see the this starting with her line towards the audience at the end of the second episode. The only thing I don’t really like is how she gets to be friends with Gwen again in season 5 and then they just throw that all away in the episode where she gets eliminated.

This is ONE of the few/many reasons why I pretend that TDI, TDROTI (and to a lesser extent: the reboot) are the only canon seasons of this franchise, cuz everything else (S2, S3, S5) just made/gave the show and characters a turn for the worse… I’ll always prefer S1 Courtney as her ONLY canon portrayal ☝️😌

I feel so bad for Courtney. She is probably the third strongest competitor in the original contestants, easily making the merge if not unfairly voted out. She lacks social skills though, which makes her seem rude and annoying, but in reality she probably just doesn’t know how to react in that situation. People hate her and like Gwen and Duncan even though they kissed behind her back while her and Duncan were still together, and didn’t even feel bad about dating while she was still in the game. She didn’t overreact in my eyes, because they literally didn’t even show signs of regret, and had no problem dating when she was right there. We need justice for Courtney.

Courtney definitely had plot armor in island though, because Ezekiel and Tyler both got eliminated over her when she was arguably more deserving to leave. Although it is weird that Harold eliminated her over Duncan when tampering with the votes, but Duncan plot armor is also a big thing in Total Drama too lmao

If you look closely at Action ok she had her lawyers but otherwise that's all she didn't have an advantage in the trials and she only has a private bathroom and lobster as an advantage..And I think that personally she had the right if she has the means to continue the show because yes she was eliminated unfairly, everyone knew it even the production..If I was her I would have done it because being eliminated from a show that could win you $100,000 and being eliminated unfairly I will sue the show and it totally makes sense that she got back on the show and she's her perks and on top of that she didn't even really get a perk and when she was threatening with her lawyers it never went far until favoring it..
If it wasn't for her lawyers she would not have even competed in Action.

Courtney is still my favorite, she was sweet at first and I say I still relate to her a lot, someone you were friends with taking someone you love, getting over them, I relate a lot, that’s why she is like this now, and I still relate.
One of the dumbest things about All Stars was making Courtney a hero (even though she was literally Season 2s villain) and making Gwen a villain (kissing Duncan ain’t nearly enough)

I enjoyed Courtney as a character. She will always be my favorite but season 2 made me hate her slightly. The writers ruined her character. honestly, i wouldn’t necessarily call courtney a backstabber to gwen in AS. i mean, it would’ve technically been in her best interest to go to the finale with scott and she was both allies with them so when push came to shove she had to make a decision regardless.

In a way, Courtney started off as evil as Heather was back in World Tour and All-Stars but as she progressed, she got even more vile than season 1 Heather.

She became annoying when she started doing much by threatening to sue and suing the crew as she cheated her way through action. In world tour ig she couldn’t get away with it again as the show got more popular inside the show itself that they definitely strengthened their lawyers that threats or sue attempts from her no longer became a problem.
Courtney's character writing made me upset. I really liked her character and they really messed her up. And it sucks because in the first season they were able to write her so well. She was flawed but still a fun and likeable character. Why did they give up on that?

Subsequent seasons with her were great too
She was ambitious since season 1. Season 2 amped that up.
I still love her character, she’s one of my favorites.
It’s a real shame her season 5 Arc ending was tearjerking and sad, she ended up with no friends alienating everyone because of her game plan.
In her defense though she was playing the game.

They should've developped Trent's and Gwen's relationship in Action so that they'd end up together instead of pulling "Actually, Trent's has OCD" out of NOWHERE.
This way, they could've just not partecipated in Tour and some other character could've been brought back/created.

Also, it gives people with OCD a bad name as well. Like "Well, Trent has OCD so therefore he's obsessed with Gwen and won't leave her alone" when that's not how it usually works. Maybe ROCD but they could have at least explored that better.

Let's be honest. All-Stars derailed everybody, but nobody got it harsher than Courtney. I mean, forget the first three seasons, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CHARACTER? Nothing about AS Courtney makes any sense in any context

I thought she was like the anti-Heather in season 1 she looked out for her team while Heather turned her's against each other, and even Heather herself admitted she saw Courtney as a worthy opponent. Then she would just throw lawsuits around like she's Ken Penders in season 2 which got really annoying.

Courtney is a amazing character she actually expressed how she felt I liked that about her and Gwen was a good character too I just hate how much hate Gwen gets Gwen honestly didn't even do much she tried giving Courtney flowers and she came back on total drama all stars to apologize and that's it she didn't want the money there were times where Gwen was really brutal and rude and same with Courtney I still like both of them in my opinion Duncan was the one to cause the love triangle he went in for the kiss in tdwt and Gwen broke up with Duncan and apologized they made up and that was it I really want a new reunion from cartoon network

Courtney is like a reverse Noah, minus the funny ass quips. She’s liked in the first two seasons but the rest of the seasons she’s wasted. Only difference is that Courtney’s character was expanded upon more than noah
For Courtney to have two different voice actors they did a very good job at recasting her in TDI, they sound nearly identical

In fact I think Courtney was supposed to be a mirror character to Heather in season 1. Let me explain:
-Both of them imposed themselves as the leader of their respective teams
BUT unlike Heather, Courtney didn't mind letting someone else taking the lead for a challenge if the said someone could help a lot like the dodge ball game where she lets Duncan being the leader or the cooking challenge with Geoff.
Whatever the challenge, Heather wanted to control everything.
-Also, Courtney could have healthy and sincere relationships with Duncan (in season 1, not the others) or Bridgette(sadly, just for season 1), while Heather literally hates everybody.
Also, the biggest difference: Courtney hates bullies. Something we could forget, when one of her teammates was bullied she defends them like how she did with Tyler a (very) few times, or when she's arguing with Duncan when he's bullying Harold.
Heather on the other hand is THE bully of her team. She's one to Beth, Lindsay, Owen and especially Gwen. When she stole Gwen's diary it didn't help in the challenge at all, it wasn't strategic or anything, it was just meant to embarass Gwen just because she didn't agree when she imposed herself as the team captain.
Then season 2 wanted to focus on other aspects like her control freak attitude or her obsession with winning. Since season 2 she's basically another character. Ad to this that she's now very possessive with Duncan. At the begining of season 3, she's more like her season 1 self but the love triangle killed her character. For ever.
