A phrase that's stuck with me is "people love to buy; they hate being sold." This video sums that up perfectly. No one likes to be forced into buying something or feel like there is a hidden agenda to do it. It'll come off as insincere. I also love the restaurant analogy!
One of the best lines I ever heard during a sales training was "People buy what they want, not what the need." (We were selling Legal and ID insurance plans, something everyone needs but not necessarily what they'll spend on due to want.)

This makes no sense. If I want to buy something whose brand I don't recognize, I try to find and check their website. If they don't have a proper website, I don't buy it. I just don't understand how a business can not have a website. If they can't provide this simple and basic thing, how can I trust them to put their best effort into their product or service?

Personally i had just a landing page and got hundreds of orders, I had a web-site with thousands of products and rarely made any sells, it has to do with focus. If they can easily get distracted with too much to consider, they aren't going to buy.
It really depends what it is and the price point. Single impulse buy product and you can get away with just a landing page….service business, where you depend on contracts and higher ticket deals not so much. There’s a point where you have to start having nav links for trust and then that’s a site as well.
Web pages get more irrelevant every day. Many big and small businesses only use Facebook or other social media now and do just fine. A landing page can link to the other pages or even a web page if it's necessary.

a Landing Page is just the page that people see when they visit your website, so lack of other pages dont mean u are awesome, it just means your line of work lacks the need for references like portfolio, about us and other important details that miss out on the landing page. Landing page suits 1 product or 1 service provider, imagine being an ecommerce company and u only have a landing page...

I’ve had three websites and had 3 paying clients and 20 enquiries from these websites in 7 years this is with seo and hashtags
I’ve gained all my other business through referrals & my social media
I agree not all web designers will rip you off
But personally as someone who’s tried 3 diff companies including yell had seo hashtags etc I don’t see the need to have one

Landing pages are like the Ice Cream🍦 truck at Bondi Beach. A small selection of their legendary choc tops targeting their ideal audience. It’s a bloody money printer but only as long as you have stock and sun is up ☀️
A website is your warehouse and you have all your Ice Creams there, most importantly as you get a reputation people know where to find you. This is your SEO, well sort of, any you get the point. Build a website that has good SEO fundamentals and simply make landing pages from that. Best of both worlds 👍
Got any advice for a car photographer/videographer that rarely getting any clients, and if i get they dont wanna pay or give tag me in their post with photos i took. How can i find paying clients or atleast a single paying business client. I have been walking around to car dealers in town and talked to them and sent some mails to them with some portfolio pictures.

@@JamesSmithBusiness ideal client would be people with a sportier/exotic car. They often understand value of services because they wouldnt be where they are today.
Former photographers agent here with some unsolicited advice: forget car dealerships and concentrate your emails and outreach to ad agencies that handle car manufacturer accounts (most of these ads are shot in SF or LA) and exotic car makers and dealers and owners( google for websites and top ten lists and work your way thru them) set up a easy portfolio on Carrd ($19 a year) and use this funnel: intro email then one email a week with different images then pause for a month and email for 4 weeks again once a week … charge appropriately or you will look like an amateur - google for a photo cost checklist that includes travel time, lights, assistants and rights breakdown…. There is tons of work available once people and art directors know who you are … best of luck 🎉

No you don't. Web pages you have to pay for, landing pages you don't necessarily need to. You can make one through Canva for free but you don't get your own domain

I am a video editor but here i notice video editing part ...video editing can convert your content to Next Level and Viral if your videos look attractive then you can get huge engagement and convert your revenue/channel growth 5x more. I also do Thumbnails design, Video SEO and I am a video editor. If your say then i will do for it with 100% satisfaction, its not video editing it about telling a story about your self business or may be the world around in today's everyone try to tell there own story but sometimes words are not enough and the come video editing

Would you suggest building a landing a page in case of very little following number and at the same time quite low reach on ig? For now I have just application link in my bio for my coaching services. I am thinking if having. landing page would change something if I am a beginner coach. 2.
