what I thought was funny is when squirrel came upto the GALLON plant and all the lights went off.... it's like the plant manager went "ah crap he's back, quick turn off the lights and pretend we aren't here" XD
Paul, u say that u talk nonsense, but I really enjoy what you talk about while driving. It is one of the reasons I watch ur trucking videos. Keep it up!
What i loved about an old game called ''Rig'n'roll'' i that the workers you hired in that game were actually placed on the world map and you could see them driving when finding them on the map with the specified cargo.
Paul, you are SO CORRECT regarding the 'kid in a candy shop' type of mentality. Oh, this is Michel, the "Old-fart" (65) that has a cat (Winston) who likes to hear ya and talk to your videos... LOL! Any who, it FINALLY dawned on me a few years ago that I had become what can ONLY be termed a COLLECTOR of video games. I have all of these WONDERFUL sims to use, but I RARELY did more than to install, play just long enough to 'sort' of get what it's about, and before I knew it, I'd be off to another one. I RARELY would even go all the way through. When this dawned on me a few years ago, I started trying HARD to keep that in mind. Sad to say not much changed, but at least I am AWARE. Well, I think I do try harder to stick with a game I truly enjoy, such as our lovely trucks here, and try to get the MOST out of it. I am happy to say YOU are responsible for getting me to GO AND EXPLORE, or DISCOVER, the map. So THANKS for that, mate. Take care.
You talking nonsense while rdiving is exactly why we're watching your trucking videos! Keep up the good work and please make more survival videos. For example Stranded Deep.
You did pronounce Nogales correctly, Squirrel! Up north in the mountains of Arizona it will get around 20ish C in the morning then heat up to 30-35C. In the southern part where the desert is it might get down to 30, but usually about 35 then heat up to 45 by afternoon.
SQUIRREL!!!! I know this vid is a bit older, but i loved your comments at about 21 minutes about being a family man! It's super difficult to keep up being a family man! PROPS TO YOU for staying with your channel! I miss diaries NA bro!!! Take care
Just watched a older video of Squirrel, and I know he had a desk job however were surprised to know he worked as a developer. For me I have had the hardest time getting a job as a programmer but now for the last 1,5 years I've had my dream job:)
Hi Squirrel! I live in the Mojave Desert in Southern California and it gets nice and cool at night, around 21 to 26C during the summer which is amazing after a day at 38C. During winter it can get below freezing some nights.
I'll admit, I'm an Elite pilot (based on the chat on this video), and I've learned how to get the most out of it with limited times to play. I'm an Explorer...currently I'm about halfway to the center of the galaxy, with no other people around me (other than the rare meeting with another explorer), and I'm finding hundreds upon hundreds of systems that have never been seen before...that's what we are out here for. But, even when I'm back home in the Human bubble, I'm able to find ways to spend half an hour to an hour just bumming around...I'll go bounty hunting near my home station, or run a couple of missions for the player organization that I'm part of, or (preferably) go sit in a planetary ring and chill out while turning large rocks into very valuable small rocks. I've got THOUSANDS of hours in the game, and I'm still pretty broke, don't have anything bigger than an Asp, and prefer to be out away from it all seeing what's really out there. Now if I just had a computer that could handle the Horizons content.... Oh, and those trailers...they don't turn. I've gotten to the point where I avoid the tankers because they ALWAYS have trouble making anything resembling a corner :p
Spot on with the time aspect in life. I'm a working man with 2 little children and I'm lucky if I can get an hour to play a night. Love all your videos! Keep it up!
So funny story. When I was a kid I didn't know what exhaust pipes were. So when I was climbing into my grandma's W900 I touched it and burned my hand trying to get in. When I got older I learned and figured it out and felt so stupid. But of course I've always been a fan of trucking.
Great video, laughed my head off when that Ford car trolled you at the drop of point, that one has happened to me too. Found your comments about No Man's Land and Elite Dangerous interesting, but ATS, ETS and even Stranded Deep have grind too. The truck simulators have deliveries you need to do, to get money to buy your own truck, Stranded deep you need to find or make Water, Food and Wood to survive. My personal view is grind is OK so long as it can be done while your achieving other tasks / goals, e.g. Map exploration on truck sims, interesting views or encounters, difficult but achievable tasks like parking.
Regarding the Controller being not plugged in and needing to restart the game: That is completely normal and it's the case for every USB device. The game will load the ones in that are active when it is started. If you would plug out your mouse it would be exactly the same. It is a limitation of the USB standard. Well at least you don't have to reboot the PC like you had to with PS2 connectors.
I said it before and I'll say it again....dude you have to watch your trailer when you turn. 10:12 you will notice the truck movement a bit later signaling you most likely took the sign down. You reverse towards blind side while looking at the drivers side mirrors which if there was any obstacle you would of took them out.In another video you clipped the trailer on your right side numerous times and still never tried looking at the right side mirror.
Squirrel I stated playing stranded deep because of you and OMG !!! There was something big in the water (not fish or rekt ships) ..... Cant wait to you start playing it again. Great ATS video ;)
Hey squirrel. If you turn on the emergency blinkers cars and trucks will stop earlier and let you park, reverse or do whatever you need to do with a bit more space.... ;) Cheers
I would love to see you do an Elite Dangerous playthrough, but as a dad I understand completely what you said about being a dad! Love you're ATS stuff I'm catching up I don't know if you're still doing it.
It’s a few years later but I have no mans sky on my Xbox one as well as fallout 4 and for me I have no issue picking up the game and setting it down after a couple hours when I get the chance. I get what you said about not having time and I just manage the grindyness into what little time I get to afford into those games
Due to some of the problems in Fernbus, Squirrel can't record it. He has talked to the developers to see what they need to do for him to continue making videos on Fernbus. Since he is going to Gamescon starting Sunday, you might not see one until the week of the 21st.
Okay, I feel like I need to clear some things up. First of all, NMS is NOT a console exclusive, and was never branded/advertised as one. A delay of THREE DAYS was announced a week before launch, because they needed to finish final tweaks. Secondly, the NMS team has released a statement that because of the huge playerbase in the first days after launch, the servers were failing, and people weren't able to see each other, but multiplayer is coming. I'm not defending the game, and I don't own it, but you just got some facts wrong.
a flammable load at a fuel stop collided with a truck to day resulting in a explosion causing an evacuation of fifteen miles and a twenty mile back up on the interstate the driver was charged with careless operation of his vehicle and fine 475 thousand dollars and jailed due to his home in the UK he is considered as a flight risk because of his extensive flying time in flight simulator he can also hide on one of his trains in train simulator or at his farm with all this in consideration bail is denied here in PC court the great judge hard drive has imprisoned the driver until he pays his fine he might have to sell his construction businesses or get a few of his friends from GTA to bust him out. 😂 lol
When you were in the gas station and it appeared the trailer wheels had cleared the pump island, but you still got stuck, it was because the lead axle tyres on the cab, were hitting the pump island on the right.
22:33 - 22:37 that car just levitated while changing lanes, what sorcery is that? O.o 24:08 - 25:20 o.O 29:31 - 29:42 drivers in Arizona are wizards ~kappa~ 31:36 - 32:02 lol 32:20 - 34:12 scumbag game was like "nope, you're not completing this delivery, Squirrel" 34:15 - 35:40 lmao 😂😂😂🤣 what an eventful delivery XD 😅
Was anybody else laughing their head off while Squirrel was trying to pull his trailer through the fuel station pump area? I was for sure. LOL BTW I love your vids Paul! :)
Empyrion doesn't feel too grindy - it's actually kind of fun to mine. That's way better than No Man's Sky. Has really active devs too. You can build titanic huge ships and bases but you don't have to if you don't want to,
I think for no mans sky i remember the developers saying to find your friend on a planet would be the same as 2 people landing on earth with know knowledge of the planet trying to find each other. I think they were talking about multiplayer later on in the game, however this interview was months ago, maybe they have had other ideas
My dad always has something to say in a car ride to not get me bored.. I honestly think he's got enough of "Are we there yet?" Three kids is all it takes......
It would be cool if there was a construction job where u had to pick up and bulldozer, and when u leave u have to go through the truck bath and get the dirt off your tyres.
A three day difference in the release date (August 9th vs 12th) between PS4 and PC does not make No Man's Sky a Playstation exclusive. If they had pulled a Rockstar, and released on one platform, and teased the idea for a year and a half about coming to PC, that would be something different. Staggered release dates are particularly annoying, but are somewhat understandable from a business perspective, especially when dealing with multiple platforms. Far Cry Primal had a week difference between the console and PC release dates, which was irritating, since I was planning to record and post to RUclips. Fallout 4 was even more annoying, because the release date was based on midnight according to your geographical timezone, so those in New Zealand got access to the game 16 hours before those in North America, even though those who had pre-loaded the game days before would not have overloaded the download servers.
I was about to write a comment about NMS why i'm not bothered about it... and then that Ford impersonating Tesla made me spill my tea all over my shirt and chair.
I for one am grateful you're not doing No Man's Sky...if i really want to to watch that, there are countless other youtubers I can watch since its the current train ride. Just do what you want and do what you can. Videos become very stale if the youtuber plays a game and is not enjoying it. so thanks for all your hard work you put into your youtube and twitch channels
Hey squirrel, I have heard you talk about Minecraft before but I cant remember if you have ever talked about playing it before. Would yu ever consider doing a series on it? Thanks in advance. From Dudders

yep lol
scoza5
scoza5 bro trucking is like hurry hurry get there and wait at least one thing he didn't have to wait until he got back
Paul, u say that u talk nonsense, but I really enjoy what you talk about while driving. It is one of the reasons I watch ur trucking videos. Keep it up!
I love that flying car @22:35...
Saw that
i seen that
1-2 sec later another one
"LA LA LA I LOVE MY FLYING CAR, I HAVE ONE JUST FOR ME" xD
lol
What i loved about an old game called ''Rig'n'roll'' i that the workers you hired in that game were actually placed on the world map and you could see them driving when finding them on the map with the specified cargo.

Man I love that long nose truck !! One of the best parts of American Truck sim !

Funniest thing i have seen in ages. Squirrel trying to park the tanker and in the meantime the car tries to go underneath lol.
Great video Paul, I was laughing so hard at end cause that's exactly what happen to me on fuel station.
Love the new intro Squirrel

Thanks for not cutting the dropoff struggle I haven't laughed so hard all week.
Wow... the Clark Griswold technique to driving around trailers!
Really need to use your hazard lights in these instances - the AI give you plenty of room to maneuver if you do.
binge watched 42 episodes in like 3 days lol love this series

Also that car at 35:06 had one heck of a death wish! Deliberately ramming a gasoline tanker?!
I think he calls them petrol tankers
Hey squirrel. If you turn on the emergency blinkers cars and trucks will stop earlier and let you park, reverse or do whatever you need to do with a bit more space.... ;) Cheers
why de f... I like this videos, when I can go an play the game on my own...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
I am loving the intro

Where is Fernbus :| Great vid Squirrel :D
Due to some of the problems in Fernbus, Squirrel can't record it. He has talked to the developers to see what they need to do for him to continue making videos on Fernbus. Since he is going to Gamescon starting Sunday, you might not see one until the week of the 21st.

Oh trust me, with amount of times I crash my truck, the insurance definately goes up. Lots.

Great job parking. you're hired :P
Now I see it all with the car driving through the trailer 😂😂
when backing try using your 4way flashers and see if that stops them from getting close to you or hitting you
I do miss the old "Discover: Great Britain" flight sim videos, and Construction Simulator.
When you were in the gas station and it appeared the trailer wheels had cleared the pump island, but you still got stuck, it was because the lead axle tyres on the cab, were hitting the pump island on the right.
22:33 - 22:37 that car just levitated while changing lanes, what sorcery is that? O.o

29:31 - 29:42 drivers in Arizona are wizards ~kappa~
31:36 - 32:02 lol
32:20 - 34:12 scumbag game was like "nope, you're not completing this delivery, Squirrel"
34:15 - 35:40 lmao 😂😂😂🤣

Enjoying the new intro.
25 DEGREES IS CRAZY? haha Welcome to Romania where, summer gets up to 40 degrees celsius in the shadow lol
Was anybody else laughing their head off while Squirrel was trying to pull his trailer through the fuel station pump area? I was for sure. LOL

Congrats on nearly hitting 450k subs :) another great video btw
This is Eli James and I have to say tanks for the videos

He has a video, but I am not sure if he is releasing it this week or next week.
Probably next week, since he'll be in Germany he said he scheduled some videos to go out then.
I agree!👻
+TB COOL 32 you wrong
Empyrion doesn't feel too grindy - it's actually kind of fun to mine. That's way better than No Man's Sky. Has really active devs too. You can build titanic huge ships and bases but you don't have to if you don't want to,
typical high temps in Arizona are 110-125 Degrees Farenheit
That driver who just tried to fit in the gap was dumbfounded.
I think for no mans sky i remember the developers saying to find your friend on a planet would be the same as 2 people landing on earth with know knowledge of the planet trying to find each other. I think they were talking about multiplayer later on in the game, however this interview was months ago, maybe they have had other ideas
OOh yes more flight simulation! :B I'm currently doing a cargo tour on IVAO
My dad always has something to say in a car ride to not get me bored.. I honestly think he's got enough of "Are we there yet?"
Three kids is all it takes......
A knife stabbing and shooting happened in Cologne, and that is where Paul is for gamescom....
It would be cool if there was a construction job where u had to pick up and bulldozer, and when u leave u have to go through the truck bath and get the dirt off your tyres.

Notice the tanker at the stoplight at around 17:30? I guess squirrel's truck is invisable...
Your Castellano is very good squirrel
At 17:40 the tank in front shows the reflection of the car behind your truck instead of your truck itself.
Always love the random stuff that happens on your vids hahahah like the end XD
squirrl i love your videos
I once delivered to a gas station at night in ats and there was a line of cars for 2 blocks!
Love these talky episodes :-)
I was about to write a comment about NMS why i'm not bothered about it... and then that Ford impersonating Tesla made me spill my tea all over my shirt and chair.
Yep, I don't need to wait, I can get under there... Nope... ROFLMAO... I am literally crying with laughter...
Money talks, B.S. walks!
Love ats but it needs more truck choices asap. I want to drive mack, western star, freightliners!
just to let u know squirrel there is a fuel dieil in the truck it's at the third one and the top in the middle of the truck
Lol at that dumb mofo in his Ford who wanted to drive underneath the trailer.
The AI have become my friends.
I really wish they put these simulators on Xbox one and other consoles
nah would take too much and they would have to strip features from the game
+GMV Rambo ... yea, no. no it couldnt....
+GMV Rambo yes but how the fuck can you drive with just 14 controls? when the game has somthing like 40 buttons
YEAH sorry caps
Great new intro!
one word FINALLY
Anyone see the secret, *time-traveling*, *Flying Car?*
Yep :D
Squirrel more stranded deep please :D
Actually at night is goes to 31 degree it is still hot during summer.
Id like to recommend "This Is The Police".
Brush it off...lol. What a journey

Should have just drove around the back of the gas, err, petrol station.
You obviously haven't heard about the new hover cars then. 😉
Nice intro, dude!
Hey squirrel, I have heard you talk about Minecraft before but I cant remember if you have ever talked about playing it before. Would yu ever consider doing a series on it? Thanks in advance. From Dudders
Nice video pual
That man ruined his Ford Taurus at the end there.
i go in the life line some because small drop off the load can be crazy
Would love to see Elite Dangerous on your channel.
You have to try the Mexicali map.
I don't know about Artificial Intelligence, that was more like Artificial Insanity. It just needed "Allahu Akhbar" above the green Ford...
Best youtuberz✌🏻️
Flight sim idea for good views. Island hoping. Start from St. Croix. STX.
How many mods would you recommend running at a time?
In ED u need to be in the same server to see each other as well
ROFLMAO!!! Need... ox....y....gen... That was fun. I just did that delivery last night. It was smoother than yours. :) You need to stick with the truck driving. The Stranded Deep was fun, sorta, but the truck driving is much better viewing. Btw, I understand the need to grind for days and nights on these games, that is my addictive behavior kicking in. But I have the time. Anyways, more trucking, less bussing, trains, building and survival is my vote. But I will watch bits of the others....
