Every country song that is out now could be sung by one person. Every song I hear is pretty much exactly the same. In no way am I saying there not good songs, because there are a lot of great catchy tunes that are currently out, but for the most part they all sound the same, verse- chorus- bridge- verse- chorus- outro guitar solo. I really like Maddie and Tae, besides being drop dead gorgeous they are extremely talented.
For those of you who confuse Modern Country with Bro-Country, there is a difference. Modern Country keeps themes of Traditional Country, but in a more updated manner. Bro-Country, on the other hand, has more of a noticeable Pop sound to it with repeated themes of girls in cut-off jeans, drinking fireballs, and getting high (Florida Georgia Line repeats them over and over again). Jerrod Niemann only has two songs in that crap subgenre, but other than that, he associates with Modern Country, closer to Brad Paisley and Keith Urban. He'll never be Bocephus, much less Old Hank, but this song, Blue Bandanna, and even One More Drinking Song have earned him his spot in Modern Country.
