One can hire 5 excellent chefs - not just cooks - to run a small kitchen at a restaurant. All of them do everything, from peeling potatoes and carrots, to boiling pasta. Yet for great chefs that they all are, this is too little of a job for everybody to be able to demonstrate all their skill. If somebody is running the kitchen operations more, then somebody will have to do the potato peeling more. Despite that they are all 5 excellent chefs. Sometimes, there's too litle space for everybody to excel.
Well, being lithuanian I have to say the game was a little lucky for us. Lots of misused opportunities, passed up open shots or missed easy extra passes that made this match frustrating to watch, but all of that in the ending with Ulanovas "catapults" made this match feel weirdly spectacular. I also have to add that I have jealousy specifically towards Serbian and Spanish basketball schools on how they teach their players to always move the ball, "read the game" and always do the right things on the court which Zvezda basically showed for 3.5 quarters at a very high level but in the end Zalgiris just decided to give the defensive tone and physicality where Zvezda was basically "suffocated" and forced to shoot prayers. Hope we only take what's valuable from this game and try to play team basketball like all the other teams.

On the other hand Zalgiris plays great basketball and really deserves the position it has in the ranking. Partizan has been 8 years outside EL, if we somehow manage to go to play-off it would be great but it's very very hard. Punter and Nunnaly are not in great shape right now, bigger treath is Exum i think. But I'm affraid of Lecavicius and Ulanovas 😁. Anyway, it will be a great game, let the better win 👋
@@TomasRakauskasRally the game in Lituania could be very important for Partizan. But we first have the derby this week, if we don't win we basically lose all hopes for 8th place. On the other hand Zalgiris plays great basketball and really deserves the position it has in the ranking. Partizan has been 8 years outside EL, if we somehow manage to go to play-off it would be great but it's very very hard. I hope in the future when we get new people in charge of the club that Partizan takes some inspiration from Zalgiris cause you maintaned euroleague status for all this years in spite of all difficulties.
