On the "you'll never hear this song live" comment - 1000000% yes you will. On their last UK tour I heard this, and 4 other tracks off this album. Plus, 3 tracks from their first ever EP that came out a year before this.
yeah same. I saw them when they did their no barrier 10 year anniversary of Rain in July shows, and they definitely did this and a few others off LNOTGY
The Notebook, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, 500 days of Summer The Will Smith Smack! And the Golden Buzzer. Love Neck Deep.
I’ve seen them live so many times and they will always play this banger haha ❤️🔥❤️🔥
I’m pretty sure the video for Gold Steps was filmed while the band was on Warped 2015.
saw them 3 weeks ago and they still play the old bangers like Gold Steps
One of the best pop punk albums to exist. Life’s not out to get you Neck Deep. Pure pop punk lol
Y’all didn’t catch the Jeremy McKinnon scream at the end of Gold Steps 👀
AYO WUT?
their older stuff was tough man it wasnt as produced it was more raw it was great especially the first album
Neck Deep plays gold steps live all the time lol, pretty sure they played it last I saw them at warped in 2019
They actually played this live at Sad Summer last year 🤣
Cool idea dudes
Haha it's funny cause you guys skipped the albums where they sound different directly to the new song where they sound exactly like the old songs
I still will never understand why some record labels back then back in the 2010's would release music videos in goddamn mono but of course the original music itself is in stereo. Life's Not Out To Get You came out in fuck 2015 and so was the Gold Steps video. fucking 2015! lmao way past the point of an already establishment era of HD for both video and audio lol. Around 80% - 90% of most music and audio, especially now-a-days, is in stereo, so why the hell would you even convert and release a music video in mono? Was it really going to affect internet bandwidth THAT badly? really? It's so ridiculous especially considering the fact that no record label would do that shit anymore now-a-days so why even bother back then lol
apologies for the unhinged rant I just had to vent lol
EDIT: holy shit i'm a fucking buffoon. It was just this video not the actual music video. I haven't seen the video in a long time and I just completely forgot. I just went on an unhinged tangent for no reason I'm so sorry lmao.
