I should have included in my follow-up, certain alarm clocks did this when I was a youth. That's back when radios were all A.C. and tube-based. My late aunt used to plug in an electric percolator, so coffee would be ready when the alarm went off.
You go to the store and return it because you cannot change the volume. More than likely, the cheap plastic clock is broken if you need the volume adjusted.
Just got this piece of shit after a friend of mine knocked over my old similar Sharp alarm clock and broke it. This one functions exactly the same and the only visible difference between the two is that this one has squares for the two plugs instead of circles. Anyways, this piece of junk goes off with an extremely quiet beeping sound and does not get progressively louder. I can barely hear the alarm with my ear against the case; no way that is waking anyone up. Clearly my alarm clock is defective. I will never purchase Sharp junk again and I do not recommend you do either. The first clock didn't even take that much of a fall and the thing became completely destroyed. Second one was broke from the factory.
I'm surprised the outlets aren't controlled by the timer. Of course that would require a relay, making the clock expensive and larger.
That would be a good idea. Have them turn on a lamp.

How do you adjust the sound
I can't recall at the moment. Sorry

But can make the Ala louder.you can hardly hear it and I have good hearing
How do you stop the alarm instead of just snoozing it?
Switch the tiny alarm switch over to the right. Very poor design choice for anyone waking up in a dark room.

Is it possible to turn up the volume for the alarm? This is a fucking joke the volume on the alarm is so damn low. I’m not gonna hear it.
That 'overview' was useless.
