- We continue the Metro tour on the blue and red line, stopping at Monastiraki, Syntagma, and end at the Acropolis stations. I'm exhausted so enjoy. #greece #greek #travel #athens #travelvlog #traveling #travelling #metro #train #transportation #dayinthelife #dayinmylife #vlog #vlogger #vlogging #educational #information
My favourite cities in Europe Athens and Rome thanks for sharing.
Plz excuse the big editing error at 11:00. We're all just human
You are an Athenian now...great job!!
What a nice weather Greece have .
I myself I'm half Greek but I live in the Netherlands and here in The Hague is raining non stop . I was in Greece/Crete a month ago.
Some of the best vacation of my life .I missed it already.
Lefkada island wait for me next year , I'm coming.
Can you do a much more detailed video on the Athens Metro? For the headway of the trains, how clean it is, how satisfied you are by it etc.
It'd be interesting to ride the line until Plakentias station.
dude their are greeks living in athens never been to the acropolis lol
It's a city people thing. They never go to the tourist spots.
Αφού δουλεύουν από το πρωί μέχρι το βράδυ 😅😅😅😅😅😅
@@LargeManAbroad Exactly, I am one of those Greeks, and to me, the ancient sites have always been "there"
I do want to go one day , but since it is always there , I always procrastinate about going
5:35 These are not "Palace Guards"
These are Evzones (Or Tsoliades) , they make up the Presidential Guard
And this is not a Palace (although it used to be the Palace of the first King of Greece)
This is the Parliament building, the center of Greek politics
Those guards are there to guard the tomb of the unknown soldier , but they also are there to guard the parliament
Also, earlier in the video , you said that Syntagma is the "buisness center of Athens" , thats not entirely accurate, it is more like , the Triangle that makes up Monastiraki, Omonia and Syntagma is the "Center" of everything Athens , not physically, but this triangle is the most central hub of Athens
Your vlogs are great! The metro, Piraeus, long term visa, etc., all really informative. But, wait a minute, your degree is in archaeology? Do you have more info on your background anywhere? Cheers!😎
