Between the 2003 and 2008 version, I thought the 2008 version had a much more credible storyline, plus it was also a nice tribute to the original series and the late Bill Bixby.
Absolutely not😂the 2003 have more story line a is more of a love story more human and realistic dude-the hulk 2008 hulk is ridiculous and have no story line at at all,its wos all albout the action.....the movies and kids these days are not realistic at al lol,,,,😅
He just didn't say it in 2003. But...he did it, though. Saw what he did to San Fransisco? He was underground, and I guess because of his height, his head was just wrecking the concrete as he went along, and he finally jumped out through the concrete, and, out of anger from all the tar/oil that was on him and who knows what else, and smashed the ground, and several cars behind him went flying after he did this. And he hit one of the Hulk dogs in a similar manner which killed the dog.
Comparing the strength of the two hulks, I actually think the 08 one was more impressive. The 03 one was physically stronger, as shown by throwing the tank and leaping miles at a time. But...you didn't look at the Hulk's form and feel he had that kind of capacity, so it just looked silly. With the 08 one, his strength looked more believable for his size and form, and he was a much more savage character...so you really FEEL how powerful and brutal the Hulk is supposed to be.
yeah, that makes sense...I got that feeling from the Avengers Hulk, which looks alot smoother and more "impenetrable" than the 08 one. They really nailed him just right :)
Anyone else notice that 2003 Hulk is like calmer the the 2008 version? Look at their facial expressions and tell me which looks angrier? As the Hulk should be!
Still haven't seen Hulk, and am looking for a reason that I should. He looks like a cartoon compared to the newer one. Nick Nolte looks like a pretty good character in this movie but Tim Roth's Emil Blonsky was great and William Hurt was awesome too.
2003 hulk is more for adults, even though i was only 12 when i saw it, the character development in the movie was superb, you could relate to his anger because of what they showed about him, especially that dream about his mother dying by his fathers hand and abomb going off
People keep forgetting that in those 5 years CGI leaped, plus they were the years that superhero movies became darker, less colorful/less fairytale'ish. For it's time the Lee Hulk wasnt bad, not a masterpiece for sure but people only started to call it bad after the 2008 version was released.
I think the director of the 2008 movie was paying homage by starting the movie off that way. Kind of like the way the Avengers showed Bruce still in exile in some village before they found him
i liked both versions for different reasons. i liked the 2008 one better because it had awesome action and epic diolouge. the 2003 version was cool because it talked ab out the inner rage in Banner and in all of us. i feel that the 2003 film shoould have come out later because at the time, all people cared about was action in movies and not serious human expirience issues. if the 2003 one came out in 2008 and the 2008 one came in 2003, people would be happier
To me HULK was the better film. It had depths, a story, a meaningful purpose, and in a way broke the fourth wall for superhero films. It was original. The only thing The Incredible Hulk had going for itself was that it had a connection to the 70's tv series. I liked that. And another thing, why do people complain so much about HULK being a little...sympathetic! Even in the 70's tv show the hulk was sympathetic. Just watch the episode "Ricky". In that episode hulk actually smiles.
well it did reflect the original tv show in 2008 hulk but you have to remember this is the same hulk rebooted so no it is not a sequel and the 2003 hulk reflects the original comic book.its darker
I like both movies, even though I'd say 2003 is better, because they both show the troubled side of Bruce Banner. The difference is that the 2003 film is more stylistic, and the 2008 film is more action packed. But I think they both work.
08 version wuz the best, they didnt stick to him jus fighting machines, he was way more detailed and elaborate. I love that they incorperated various signature moves the hulk is known for, and I love how they didnt have to retell the entire story of how the hulk came to be, but by showing flashbacks you get an understanding of what happend to him an why he's running away
my favourite hulk is the one holding the club at 0:13. Out of all the hulk films that representation of the hulk is my favourite. (although it would only be one of the last two films anyway)
@ARandomCanadian Hulk of 2008 had more than just veins. He looked more like the comics, while Hulk of 2003 looked like a 7FT person who grow even more when angered.WE both know that isn't what the hulk does,do we?Think about, man.
that guy in 2003 was the director ang lee, in 2008 movie is not the director or Norton it is one person trained for that job. And trust me it is entirely CGI.(they say it in the making off dvd extras and you have seen it now) Problably it is better in 2003 because it was something new and they put more effort to making him real. In hulk 2008 the rights came back to Marvel and they didn't have much money at the time to do it so well, so that's the explanation :D /watch?v=69fBPlqYHyo
I could look at the 03 Hulk's form and feel he had the kind of capacity to leap a mile or 2 because there was something about having less ripples or less grooves on his body that gave him an invulnerable appearance in his body. The grooves and ripples on the 08 Hulk made him look weaker. It's like comparing a dolphin to a dog: a dog has more ripples and grooves on its muscles while dolphins are a lot smoother & rounder, the dog may be aggressive, & yet the dolphin is MUCH stronger than the dog
It was NOT entirely CGI. Possibly in some scenes, but not throughout the whole movie. It looked way to realistic and they even have that guy who played Hulk from 2003 Hulk movie in the 2008 Incredible Hulk movie.
I'm very sorry, but I beg to differ. After all, the Hulk from the 2003 movie was a straight green. IMO, because 2008's Hulk had a darker shade of green, it looked more realistic. This is just my opinion. Please respect it.
sleep??wau then you are really precise and picky person:).i really enjoyed action scene from 03 where he transform into hulk in the underground labs and scenes outsides after that.intense action.and i liked 08 hulk too both bana and norton are outstanding actors.but still i think that hulk shuld look like a hulk drom 03 cuz power and strength is all about:)
@cesar3hulk Yeaa dude i totally agree with you i thought edward norton wasnt going to pull it off at 1st. but then once i seen the movie is was Great !!!
Okay, I don't get something. Is the 2008 Hulk film supposed to be a sequel to the 2003 film? At the end of the 2003 film, he's in exile in the Amazon. That's also where he starts in the newer film. Also, the military is still looking for him, and he's also ECSTATIC to be back with Betty. However, it showed a different method of irradiating himself with the radiation. So, can somebody PLEASE clarify that for me? Thank you very much.
No it isn't suppose to be a sequel. But yes they went still with the thing of him being in Brazil in the beginning in 2008 movie. I don't remember what they said about it in the 2008 movie's Bonus Feature about why, but i think they like that thought from the 2003 movie like they kinda did in the Avengers movie with mark Ruffalo's Banner and went along with it.
I really think that the 03 hulk was better because the showed that the madder he got the bigger he got, and he healed instantly. All the new hulks made him more vulnerable, avengers hulk looked fat for some reason
You're missing the point the whole point of the 2008 movie werent to make the Hulk perfect but to make him details just right. It has a better plot, they didnt have to explain much, and it look more realistic than gamma poodle. And to be fair, They never did say the Hulk got stronger whenever he get angry in both movies. The 2003 got bigger not stronger and it didnt help describe his powers to people who dont read Hulk comic books.
2003=impossible strength, need more detail looks clay 2008=realistic strength, more detail and realistic model Why the 2003 hulk when transforming his pants changing to violet short? the Incredible Hulk if he transform he's pants did not change The incredible hulk and the avengers hulk 2012 has a same strength
MCWORLD PHILLIP No. If anything, The Avengers Hulk is closer to Ang Lee's Hulk than anything else. Not only do they look more similar, but they display much closer physical abilities. In both The Avengers and Ang Lee's Hulk, he can leap miles and miles into the distance and run at superhuman speeds. The Edward Norton Hulk never quite displayed those abilities. Even the way they are written, they are a little closer. In The Incredible Hulk, Bruce's transformation is dictated by heart rate, but in the other films, it's done solely by stress and anger. Hell, even Ruffalo looks a little more like Bana than Norton.
@Justin Gabriel no bro General Ross wants the Hulk because of the power he hold and wants to use it to make an army or more of him including himself!! Thats why he's the Red hulk!!!
@ARandomCanadian I'm not just talking about 2003 physical looks.Look 2003's mental state I mean, seriously 2003 over there not only acting emotionally sad,but having Banner's memorizes,SOMETHING"S WRONG. P.S.: The comics said that since Hulk's transformations are unstable, his skin color might change at times.
almost everything about the new movie was better. the first one was pretty good, but the only parts that was better was Jennifer Connelly as betty ross and the hulk looked more like bruce in the first one.
why do i always hear the 3 same rock songs on youtube videos? its this song then 'let the bodies hit the floor' and then that song that goes 'i, stand alone, insiide!!'. choose some other soongs!!! lol
actually 2008 Hulk is 8-9 feet tall and 2003 is in first hulk out the same height as 2008 however when Tallbots men shoot him he went to 12 feet tall and then in the transformation in that water tank he was a total of 15 FEET TALL!
For everyone who doesn't know the Hulk does not get bigger when he gets angrier he gets stronger that's why he was able to fend off the abomination when he saw Betty in the helicopter about to be blown to bits it's also why he says "Hulk is strongest one there is!!!" get your facts straight and read the comics. Shoutouts for those who think 2008 hulk is best!
Who remembers this video in 2008.
I’ve finally found it after all these years
The monster of our childhood. 💚💚
2003 might have puny human but 2008 has hulk smash
He just didn't say it in 2003. But...he did it, though. Saw what he did to San Fransisco? He was underground, and I guess because of his height, his head was just wrecking the concrete as he went along, and he finally jumped out through the concrete, and, out of anger from all the tar/oil that was on him and who knows what else, and smashed the ground, and several cars behind him went flying after he did this. And he hit one of the Hulk dogs in a similar manner which killed the dog.
So you're saying that you prefer 2003 Hulk?
Comparing the strength of the two hulks, I actually think the 08 one was more impressive. The 03 one was physically stronger, as shown by throwing the tank and leaping miles at a time. But...you didn't look at the Hulk's form and feel he had that kind of capacity, so it just looked silly. With the 08 one, his strength looked more believable for his size and form, and he was a much more savage character...so you really FEEL how powerful and brutal the Hulk is supposed to be.
The incredible hulk 2008 movie is a masterpiece it really portrays what the Hulk really is.
1:47 is the best part. it's like both hulk are really pissed off
I loved this video when i was younger, i thought it was like the most badass thing ever haha xD
For real though I’m surprised I hummed to this song a while ago and decided to try finding this
Damn, i remember the first time i see this video in 2008, it was the first time i listen this song, and thanks to this video, i found my favorite band
I remember watching this on my iPhone 1
2003 Hulk : "Puny human"
Avengers' Hulk : "Puny god"
'nuff said.
Honestly the 2003 hulk should been in the incredible hulk, and the avengers movies the 03 hulk was a pure fuckin rage monster
I Like Edward Norton :)
0:39 imo thats the best Hulk roar I have ever heard it just sounds well hulky you know what I mean?
DeadlyWest ikr
yeah, that makes sense...I got that feeling from the Avengers Hulk, which looks alot smoother and more "impenetrable" than the 08 one. They really nailed him just right :)
Anyone else notice that 2003 Hulk is like calmer the the 2008 version? Look at their facial expressions and tell me which looks angrier? As the Hulk should be!
This video and the music is so 2000s. Childhood memories 😂
Still haven't seen Hulk, and am looking for a reason that I should. He looks like a cartoon compared to the newer one. Nick Nolte looks like a pretty good character in this movie but Tim Roth's Emil Blonsky was great and William Hurt was awesome too.
That's my secret cap.
I'm always angry
lol
2003 was so much more emotional and realistic and 2008 was about action.
2008 these days.
I don't care what someone say "2008 is better!" I don't care what someone say "2003 is better!"
I would say that they both kickass!!!
Hulk's speed/strength/aggressiveness etc.: 2003
Appearance:2008
Storyline: 2003
Fight scenes: 2008
If they put the 2003 hulk in the 2008 movie, that would be EPIC...
But he would end up getting much bigger than the Abomination....only when he got super angry, though.
I wish the 2008 was a mixture of what it was and the 2003 hulk. You know. 2003 hulks abilities and keep the 2008 look.
2003 Hulk looks Plastic, whereas 2008 Hulk looks like a Video Game model. I still think 2008 is a better film, but neither Hulks look great.
bros are bros but they aren't real.
Zombifyed the 2008 hulk looks like green shit
I Disagree, I Think They Look Great. Very Comic-Accurate
2003 looks more comic like. 2008 has a very thin and tall build as opposed to being hulks stocky build present in the comics
2003 hulk is more for adults, even though i was only 12 when i saw it, the character development in the movie was superb, you could relate to his anger because of what they showed about him, especially that dream about his mother dying by his fathers hand and abomb going off

I think the director of the 2008 movie was paying homage by starting the movie off that way. Kind of like the way the Avengers showed Bruce still in exile in some village before they found him
2008 hulk: takes several shot to split a car
2003 hulk: rips tanks apart easily
Yea, the 2008 was a lot weaker.
i hope the 2003 hulk actor is in the avengers 2 the other two were kinda weak
miguel magana the avengers hulk is not weak.Remember when he said Im always angry then transformed and stopped the giant chitauri ship in 1 punch
Lloydneedsbatteries Miguel said the actors were weak not the hulk
Gary Mcmillan he said that he would 2003 actor and hulk, cause 2008 actor and hulk were too weak
I remember this! Nostalgia
i liked both versions for different reasons. i liked the 2008 one better because it had awesome action and epic diolouge. the 2003 version was cool because it talked ab out the inner rage in Banner and in all of us. i feel that the 2003 film shoould have come out later because at the time, all people cared about was action in movies and not serious human expirience issues. if the 2003 one came out in 2008 and the 2008 one came in 2003, people would be happier

I really like Edward Norton.
incredible hulk because he's incredible and looks more angry and had an actually cool fight
This why you don’t piss the tank off
Hulk: Most impressive and big
The Increible Hulk: Most scary and realistic
Avengers Hulk: Most Dangerous and Powerful
Until endgame
Blonsky was injected with the super soldier. That's why he did not die and he recovered so fast. That's why he turned into abomination...
I'm Bruce Banner and I turned to the Hulk
Bana hulk- giant green baby nortons hulk-giant rage machine
Banana Hulk 2003
Norton hulk will always win this round
they need a sequel for the 2008 version
2003 🤤😍
08 version wuz the best, they didnt stick to him jus fighting machines, he was way more detailed and elaborate. I like the part when my eyes comes up. Looks cool and the music
2008 looked and acted more like Doomsday than Hulk.
my favourite hulk is the one holding the club at 0:13. Out of all the hulk films that representation of the hulk is my favourite. (although it would only be one of the last two films anyway)
T.I.H WINS FOR SURE
wish they made a movie
Remember when the 2003 Hulk said 'Puny human'.
Fantastic.
2003 HULK is my movie for eternity.
Ah okay, that sounds like a reasonable explanation. Makes sense.
In the movie abomination is made of the hulk blood but in shows he looks like a giant slimy lizard.
2003 hulk looked like play doh and clay. The 2008 hulk looked more realistic and better, but 2003 hulk had a better storyline
I was listening to Breaking Benjamin on Spotify and I heard this song and I was like *NO FUCKING WAY*
U got that Right! She's the reason I watch any Movie!
2008 for graphics. 2003 for drama. being a late 90s baby i grew up thinking 2003 hulk was badass. Sorry but I gotta stick w my childhood
hulk 08 makes his own weapons out of the enviroment
03 hulk just uses his hands
but still that observation proves nothing
@ARandomCanadian Hulk of 2008 had more than just veins. He looked more like the comics, while Hulk of 2003 looked like a 7FT person who grow even more when angered.WE both know that isn't what the hulk does,do we?Think about, man.
Have you guys seen the new hulk game? damn now thats how hulk should've looked like
The greatest battle begins.
They didn't use CGI and 03 so you can't compare them. 03 Hulk didn't look stupid on close-ups because it wasn't CGI.
that guy in 2003 was the director ang lee, in 2008 movie is not the director or Norton it is one person trained for that job. And trust me it is entirely CGI.(they say it in the making off dvd extras and you have seen it now) Problably it is better in 2003 because it was something new and they put more effort to making him real. he escuchado esa musica desde antes cuando tenia Windows Xp ja
Hulk 2008 and Bixby are all time best. Dark, monstrous, raged just how hulk must be.
I grew up with 2008 hulk
There both good
2008 hulk: barely can pick up a humvee
2003 Hulk: Throws an freaking tank a mile away!
Larisa Rudyk the Incredible Hulk gets bigger and stronger you know he’s literally the 2003 hulk but older
It was NOT entirely CGI. Possibly in some scenes, but not throughout the whole movie. It looked way to realistic and they even have that guy who played Hulk from 2003 Hulk movie in the 2008 Incredible Hulk movie.
Can you please tell me what this song is called. And nice vid
@cesar3hulk Definitely right bout that ! Once i seen edward norton i was thinkin nooo way ! once i seen the work he did total success !
The song is: Blow Me Away - Breaking Benjamin
for the ones who say that hulk 2003 wasn´t CGI you can see the proove here that it was entirely cgi and motion captured
I'm very sorry, but I beg to differ. After all, the Hulk from the 2003 movie was a straight green. IMO, because 2008's Hulk had a darker shade of green, it looked more realistic. This is just my opinion. Please respect it.
in my opinion the 03 Bruce and hulk are better... the 08 hulk looked more like a body builder with a monster face
Im glad for Avengers they took more from 03 than 08, seriously, over cgi much.
sleep??wau then you are really precise and picky person:).i really enjoyed action scene from 03 where he transform into hulk in the underground labs and scenes outsides after that.intense action.and i liked 08 hulk too both bana and norton are outstanding actors.but still i think that hulk shuld look like a hulk drom 03 cuz power and strength is all about:)
It doesn't matter how hulk looks,as long as he has green skin, big, black hair, and strong
everyone would think the incredible hulk would win hulk but they are the same that was true there is just a wow word how hulk behaves
Hulk 2003 the best; ever.
I know right
Cool music
both awesome
2003=impossible strength, need more detail looks clay
2008=realistic strength, more detail and realistic model
Why the 2003 hulk when transforming his pants changing to violet short? the Incredible Hulk if he transform he's pants did not change
The incredible hulk and the avengers hulk 2012 has a same strength
MCWORLD PHILLIP No. If anything, The Avengers Hulk is closer to Ang Lee's Hulk than anything else. Not only do they look more similar, but they display much closer physical abilities. MCWORLD PHILLIP incrediblw hulk looks likw a body builder with monster face
HuLK 2003 and hulk of thor ragnarok are better
2008 hulk is 70,s hulk on strodeies
@Justin Gabriel no bro General Ross wants the Hulk because of the power he hold and wants to use it to make an army or more of him including himself!! Thats why he's the Red hulk!!!
i think the 03 hulk looked more realistic as far as animation but was too green
Now I see how they didnt get both Movies right!
Does anyone notice that the Hulk of 2003 is taller than the Hulk of 2008?
Ziggy Wynder no they are the same
The 2008 gets up to about 9 ft max. The 2003 one gets up to 15 feet and 12 feet average. Learn your facts before commenting dipshit.
@@a.j7899 no there not
The Incredible Hulk (2008, Marvel Studios) + Glass (2019, Buena Vista International) = Universal Pictures
Hulk (2003) + Split (2016) = Universal Pictures
almost everything about the new movie was better. the first one was pretty good, but the only parts that was better was Jennifer Connelly as betty ross and the hulk looked more like bruce in the first one.
why do i always hear the 3 same rock songs on youtube videos? its this song then 'let the bodies hit the floor' and then that song that goes 'i, stand alone, insiide!!'. choose some other soongs!!! lol
Nice!
actually 2008 Hulk is 8-9 feet tall and 2003 is in first hulk out the same height as 2008 however when Tallbots men shoot him he went to 12 feet tall and then in the transformation in that water tank he was a total of 15 FEET TALL!
