@@VideoRevealed Thanks. Sad side of the story is many viewers and many good comments but no one is bother to make at least a minimum contribution to encourage a good channel.
Hello. Great video. Thanks so much. I typically film videos in my green screen studio. Would you recommend applying the Auto Color before keying and adding a background or before?
this will be useful, I useuall do a white balance on my video cameras if I am doing a multi angle shoot as I found it hard to do a color match in post. this may help. thanks and Happy Father's day
Great video. I’m new to shooting music videos and I just know that I’m not going to get everything perfect my first few times. Things like ISO and White Balance might not be as good as I could have made them and so will this Auto color correction fix that and even allow me to tweak the corrected video further? I would greatly appreciate a reply.
At 1:20 you say something about "black boxes". I thought you were saying there were two possibilities in Premiere, but now I think you were saying "That's not what Adobe did and here's why this is better". Agreed, this looks a lot like Auto in Lightroom except the intensity slider.
Yes! I Usually shoot my own footage which is perfect in the raw as far as color correction, etc! This time I shot a Halloween party indoors with one of my old flip cameras, so you can imagine how much I needed to relearn color correction again! The Auto Setting, (Especially your take on the subject) is just a amazing!
Thanks for your videos! You're my favorite channel for tutorials! Would be ever so grateful if you would do a tutorial for transitions for 2022. Just did a YT search and info I found seems outdated.
Nice! Is there a way to apply this to a selection of several clips on a timeline as opposed to doing them one at a time? Or some other way to batch process the process.
Hmmm, have you had a chance to try it on a flat image? I wonder what that would do. Like with this do I still need to put a Rec709 LUT on a video shot in S-LOG? Love this feature, it's been in Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw for a while now. Thanks Colin!!!!
@@VideoRevealed It's a really gigantic omission from this video, that purports to be a thorough overview of the feature: the majority of everyone engaged in serious videomaking/filmmaking practice, smartly shoots in LOG. There's no acceptable alternative. So, declaring this feature totally incompatible, should be the video's first priority. Also, the caption to this video is completely inaccurate/misleading: "Auto Color replaces the White Balance Eyedropper in previous versions." Yet your own screen captures show the eyedropper right there under the Auto button. 99% of the time, I'll use the eyedropper instead of the Auto button, limiting the truly fuzzy "Sensei" A.I. to that one category of gambled guessing.
@VideoRevealed thanks very much for the reply ( fantastic info on your channel, Thankyou) but my graphics card doesn’t run the newer versions. When I bought the machine, having a card that enabled CUDA was paramount, they now decide not to support it.. I mean after the last two years of ‘pandemic’ not everyone has 2K sterling to buy new machines.
Thank you again for the wonderful insights I was wondering if you could update the stabilizing since adobe claims it is better and faster in the 2022 version. Your latest post on stabilizing is 7 years old and the recent premiere updates claim it is different and better I also heard that "There are advanced methods that allow specific points to be selected to center the effect" I wonder if you come across such methods to be used as I still find it so slow ( does not even work at all in some clips longer than few seconds long) Some will say "why don't I get a more powerful processor/system" I'd say "why Adobe doesn't improve it good enough to work faster, needing less resources (just like in DaVinci stabilizer or Prodad Stabilizer") using my not so slow laptop ( Premiere Pro 2022.04 Intel Core i7-1165G7 (11th Gen) 16GB Ram, 475 Gb, SSD, Laptop with 2GB external graphic card) appreciate any new ways /methods I should try in the meantime where adobe really improves it for better
I just checked with the engineers at Adobe and there have been zero updates to the features of Warp Stabilizer in Premiere Pro. They've improved performance and fixed bugs, but that's not something I can show in a tutorial.
Adobe engineers. I don't guess at this stuff. I worked for Adobe for 17+ years and still have many friends there. I check all my work before I create a tutorial.
I want to remove this completely. Highly inconvenient. Had to re grade all of my clips because of this. There should be a toggle for this if you want it or not
GEE WIZ BATMAN NOBODY HERE KNEW THAT!!! Got a whole crew of Teams that works in PP for a lot of different things and let Me say this - YOU JUST SAVED US TONS OF WORK HOURS AND $$$$$$. Yeah thats right 6 figures. BIlling got cut BIGTIME here - good for them but not so much for our pocketbooks BUT NOW that we know this I expect efficiency to go through the roof. THANK OBEWAN OF PlanetPremierePro. OMG still shaking my head in unbelief...😂😂😂😂 BEST CHANNEL HERE on video work of all kinds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY! I have been waiting for this forever. Adobe has needed "Color Correction" for a long time. I am very impressed with it:)
arhh I found the Auto button but didnt know about the intensity slider wow i love it all thanks Colin
Thanks for watching.
Thanks!
Oh wow, thanks so much!

Having started on Moviola to Steenbeck in films and then to tape-to-tape editing and now NLE, wow what a generational change we are seeing.
Absolutely agree.
Colin, I have been using this since it was introduced...had know idea of the intensity slider... thanks...a nice bonus tip. - Mike
I'm lovin' it.
@@VideoRevealed Likeweise. Thank you.
nice video,. thanks for sharing.. i don't have this button in my 2022 premiere pro,. how do i get this ??

so simply but very effective and time saving tool. thank you for sharing.

And remember, it can also be used as a starting point.

Super-duper explanation of a new, great feature!! Thank you!!
Glad you like it!
Nice one Colin, you've done it again. You are definitely my preferred Premiere Pro advisor!
Thanks so much for your support.
Thanks for the tutorial
How is this different from the old Auto Color effect in the Obsolete effects folder?
At 1:20 you say something about "black boxes". I thought you were saying there were two possibilities in Premiere, but now I think you were saying "That's not what Adobe did and here's why this is better". Agreed, this looks a lot like Auto in Lightroom except the intensity slider.
"Black Box" method means to create a change that's fixed and un-editable. This method is much better.

Great Video....What Version of Pro do I need ?....I have Pro 2020 and have a AUTO Button much lower on the page with NO Intensity Slider...Thanks..
I'm running the latest version. Just update in the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
Yeah WOW so cool, thanks Colin and Adobe!
You bet!
Thank you Colin I shall try it out.
Have fun
Thank you, Collin. 🙏

Thanks so much Lauren. I really appreciate your support.
Nice! Is there a way to apply this to a selection of several clips on a timeline as opposed to doing them one at a time? Or some other way to batch process the process.
No. The algorithm has to look at every frame in each video, one by one.
Would you use this before a lut?
Also it would be nice to observe the scopes
I would only use a Technical LUT if the original footage was LOG. If not, then I'd use this first.
Flat (and Log) files are currently not supported.

Not understanding how this relates to SLog3 and the use of LUTs
Great feature Colin!!
You're going to love it Marc.
good info ! 🔥 thank you for sharing your insight
Would be great if I wasn't stuck with an Nvidia K5000M and Premiere 2019, and be able to access the newer versions in CCloud.
I'm confused, if you have a Creative Cloud account, then you can update to the latest version of everything!

It's familiar Lightroom Classic, Nice, Thnaks.
Oh, ok.
Magnificent 😊 light years ahead of that traditional Auto Color preset.
You got that right!
As always, thank you.
My pleasure!
Thanks for this. I can't wait to try it out.

Does this change it for the whole video or for the current frame only?
The whole clip you apply it to.
@@VideoRevealed Thank you!
Gonna use this asap!
You'll love it.
Hello who knows how to apply auto lumerti for all videos on timeline?
You do not id the version, I'm guessing you are in version 22 based on the date.
That's great❤❤❤
Thanks! 😍
You say the auto-button analyses every frame of the clip. Where is your source for this?

Yes the slider, FREAKS ME OUT. 😜
I wasn't expecting the slide as it wasn't in the beta I used but BOOM, there it was in the shipping version.
I'm trying to find out why my footage looks like it's been auto color-graded after updating the program.
thanks Colin
