Their cities may look impressive from far away but when you get near them they’re so hollow and lifeless, I’m pretty sure they only made these buildings just to prove that their citizens are doing well under their authority even though they’re not.🐱

i don't know korean, but from what i've heard, the languages of north and south korea vary mostly by the words being used. the south korean language (hangul) uses more english-sounding words, similar to japanese using katakana to write out non-japanese words, while the north korean language (chosongul) uses more traditional words that are considered obsolete to southerners. chosongul has some missing words due to censorship; they don't even have a word for "famine" due to what happened in the 90's
