Appreciate your support!
Nice cook!
Thanks! It came out really good, super tender, but not falling apart
I don’t know if it’s because this was a prime brisket or the addition of the tallow, but this was the best I’ve made yet!
@@petethehandyman9185 I bet it honestly was a combo of both. I’ve tried choice cuts. They just don’t have enough marble in them to withstand the cooking time. Gotta be prime and I see all the big places down here use the tallow.
@@TLC94LS ok! We’ll go with that! Anyway it was really good 😊
Looks good! Was that choice or prime cut?
@@TLC94LS thanks, it was prime, they had it for only 10cents more than choice, more fat but very tender. Hope you are all doing well ❤️
Was it cooked fat side up or down
@@kevinking7167 fat down and o put the point end in the center where there is more heat the fat in that end helps to protect it😀
@ sorry forgot to ask. Can you use any brand pellets or you have to use Recteq brand pellets
@ any brand pellets will work, try some different ones to find a flavor you like
@ Thank you
