as a native born West Virginian...I normally hate remixes and covers of Country Roads....but this song, this song is my fucking jam. It maintains the core elements of the original while adding to it and creating its own vibe. So super chill. My wife and I blasted it on our way to our first vacation in years a while back. Always reminds me of so many happy memories.

sidenote, the John Denver is not Dead comment was an inside joke that made it to the outside world, it stemmed from the fact that before I had posted this comment for about a month Whitney's songs kept popping up everywhere more frequently. I was morbidly joking that it had to be a sign and that she really wasn't dead and they were just preparing us for her return or that they were going release an album of unreleased songs. Turns out it is the latter that is true. Makes me wonder if John Denver has anything that is unreleased.
